Weapon DPS calculation is broken..

Ok, unless I'm completely misunderstanding how this game interprets dps, the displayed dps numbers are wrong. So I've got multiple weapons of the same type that I've collected after a bout around the Mojave.. They've got different conditions.

So I've got three cowboy repeaters. I'm going to list them from lowest to highest condition by damage.

-damage- (current value)

-27- (61) <90>

-29- (146) <58>

-30- (226) <54>

As you can see, the displayed dps is decreasing as the damage increases. Unless the gun's rate of fire is somehow increasing as the condition worsens, I don't see how this could be happening.

If anyone knows what's going on it'd be much appreciated.

This forum has definitely gotten more complicated than it used to be... I can't seem to get the post editor to let me edit my text as plain text and it's not letting me insert text after the codebox (hence the new post instead of an edit).. Also, I thought the [ codebox ] tag was supposed to be plain text and scrollable box as opposed to one large box..

If a mod happens across this feel free to insert this at the end of my first post..
