I've been in Navy, I've used G3 (shot target papers actually

) and that weapons is heavy and its backfire is hard to handle also it's quite noisy too. And it nearly destroys the subject in one hit. So in any game I've played G3 didn't feel real as I used it in real life.
So a game doesn't need to be realistic especially a game like Brink which uses a look between cartoonish and realistic environment. A game just need to be "entertaining". If you are making a realistic war game a realistic aproach would be good, but not in this game, not in Call of Duty, not in Battlefield. So differenet rules aplies here, discussing "what is realistic and what is not" is pointless.
All I'm saying this game looks perfect in everyway except those death animations BUT I also think we can't be sure till we see more gameplay videos BUT I opened this thread to prevent my concern to happen

.
That Killzone 2 video looks quite good but still can't determine if it's good hit detection

And another thing, look at the gif I provided again, if the death animation is changed with less "jumpy" one it could look better but we still need an animation when he recieves hit.
EDIT: Faster version of the killzone 2 slowmo video.

EDIT 2: So I watched gameplay videos of Bad Company 2, Modern Warfare 2, Killzone 2, Black Ops and I noticed there is no hit animation. That effect delivered by just crosshair blinking and a sound after a kill with cool death animation. That gave players the satisiffaction after a frag. I think that is it. What do you think?
Also I would like to know the opinion of someone professional, maybe from a animator from the developer of Brink? Are they commenting on the forums? (or the question is are they allowed to

)
