No weapon limit help

I played the game through once and would like to play through again being able to carry as many weapons as I like. I made an autoexec.cfg and saved it in the folder with the system.cfg file. All I did was add these lines I took from the list of commands.

g_inventoryExplosivesCapacity = 6
g_inventoryGrenadesCapacity = 3
g_inventoryNoLimits = 0
g_inventoryWeaponCapacity = 8

Now when I resume my game I still can only carry two weapons. I am not sure what I did wrong but one post I searched said that the autoexec file HAS to be named autoexec.cfg. Now when saved it just saves as autoexec but it is a cfg file. Not sure if this is my problem or not or if I am saving it into the correct folder. I did make sure all files were selected when saving it too. Would this only take effect on a new game? I have been trying it with a previous save game.

Any help with this would be appreciated. I am not sure what else to do to try and get it working.

Well, most "cheat" Cvar are locked to protect the MP because they arent smart enough to separate SP from MP; Or create a real efficient anti cheat, and allowing ppl to tweak in peace the SP.

So, if you want use Cvar like the "g_inventoryNoLimits=1" look for a Crysis2. exe v1.1 crack and use it. i'am doing that to play SP with xml tweak and somes Cvar....

Even if your game have the 1.4 patch, using a 1.1 exe will unlock Cvar and all stuff locked since the 1.2patch.

With that, no more problem to tweak the SP in peace.

This exe crack you spoke of. In C1 you had to edit the exe with a devmode line or something if I remember right. I know I had to do that to be able to carry all the weapons. Is this the same thing? I noticed some of the commands differ between games.
