Got another lvl, and a perk.

I now own two sniper rifles. One is .308, and the newer is .50. They look exactly the same, the only things that is different, is the damage. It definitely should not be like it.

Hmm, what exactly would change externally in a weapon when you modify it to use different ammo? Except for the ammo slot.

for one the barrel size needs to be bigger for the larger round, not much but it would be noticeable. the breech and loading mechanisms would also be bigger as well as a noticeable difference in the size of the magazine.

the frame would need to be changed to accommodate the bigger components.

yes, it would be nice to see a physical differance in the weapon when you change the ammo type... that said i would honestly hope for a mod that adds it over waiting for bethesda in this case as its more of a quality of life thing..
