Weapon not worth using. And worth using

Post » Wed Dec 16, 2015 8:37 am

It's a terrible weapon of course. I forgot the flamer as well. Good catch! I haven't put the cannon or railroad spike gun into use yet...sadly... they look like cool weapons. I want to know what they can do and I just haven't bothered to try them. I even stockpiled hundreds of rounds for each in my first playthrough expecting to go on a cannon/rail spree and just never got around to it....and I'm doing the same stockpile ammo purchases this time as well. I'll be sure to give them a try.

I hated using the minigun until I picked up one with the explosives perk. That thing with HG perks and tri-barrel does 80 dmg and sends limbs flying.

I heard about that perk. I don't know where to find that perk. But anyways. The deliverer makes dumb crazy damage on 10mm. Last night I found a legendary combat shotgun with extended mags and dumb damage 83+++. Was kicking ghouls down with that power and picking up variable blood for caps.
The deliverer does have one slight disadvantage. Not very effective on legendaries, per shot/damage ratio wise. But spam click with the deliverer and it kicks damage.

.50Cal doesn't hit hard enough in this game. It's not poor quality. Just not good enough. As I said. The.44 Magnum/Revolver? FUH-GEH-TEH-BOUT-ET. That thing is a rampaging rabbit. Looks like a cute retro weapon. But packs a deadly punch. I use it to hunt mongrel, mirelurks,Yao Guai, Wild Brahman, Mutant Mongrel, and even Death claws for their meat.

I remember the first time I found a Fat man. I was on the bridge by CIT trying to decide how to take out the Raiders on the wrecked ship. Scrolling through my weapons, the Fat man caught my eye and I was like "hmmmm.....I wonder what this does - OH [censored]!!!"

Close quarters \ inside buildings: Shotgun

General purpose \ open field: Laser Rifle

Long range engagements: Sniper Rifle \ Gauss Rifle

Fat Man \ Missile on on specific cases.

Ignore all the rest.

Prefer an full auto over shotgun works well on both groups and against sponges.

This might change just found an bleeding shotgun I want to try out.

Not used missiles on fatman actively yet.

Agree with the laser for general use, gaus on long.

That's not always the situation bro. For example in the corvega plant there's alot of ups and downs. Shooting top and under.
Shotguns not always useful in that situation. Best weapons for close range/indoors would be silent weapons. Expecially when your hidden. A shotgun would cause everyone to attack you In the same time. For some players. They would quickly die as their levels not high. Not like us. But best would be a silenced weapon with heavy damage or the deliverer that has a ton of V.A.T.S. chances
Outside. Laser Rifle but on certain conditions. Sometimes a.50 Cal sniper rifle would do the work with far range. Close range. A nice semi auto combat rifle

With all the guns at my disposal, at level 53, I am using Kremvh's Tooth more than any of them. I've taken down many Deathclaws and Super Mutants with just that and my suit of armor.

I gave Strong my axe after I found this wonderful weapon, and we now make a very formidable team!
