I have a huge problem with the weapon racks and display cases in my game.

Whenever I have a weapon equipped, and I hit "Activate Weapon Rack/Plaque", nothing happens for a few seconds, and then the weapon in my hand disappears and is nowhere to be found.

After this happens, I can magically delete as many weapons as I want by continuing to activate the rack.

I have no hope of going back to an earlier save because I saved before I even knew there was a problem.

All of the game's weapon racks do this.

Everything was going fine before.

My current house is "Whiterun Mansion" and I got it from NMM.

What I tried so far:

- Waiting in game

- Taking all of my belongings out of my house, deactivating the mod, and reactivating, and activating a weapon rack

- Fast travelling and returning to my house to try again

This randomly began while I was playing the game, so I know it was not another mod that caused it.

I cannot for the life of me find a solution, so if anyone else has had this problem or has an idea on how to fix it, please help me.
