weapon reach of .5 is how many game units of distance?

I would like to add this info to the the wiki page concerning weapon reach; how the "reach" number translates to the units in the game.

For example a weapon reach of .5 is how many game units of distance?

I thought I had this already figured out but I cannot seem to find my notes on this on my PC.

Not very far. Almost immediately in front of the player.

Dagger 0.6
Short Sword 0.8
Long Sword 1.0
Claymore 1.3

You could test it by having an unmoveable creature and attack it with a dagger that has a reach of 0.5 until you finally hit it.
Then you can do a 'getdistance' in the console to it from the player. That should give you the game units.

Right, I did something like that once before but as I said I lost the info. So before doing it all again I had wanted to see if someone else had figured it out as well.

Oh well, more monotonous testing, guess it is par for the course.

Would you happen to know if H2H combat "reach" (distance from the actor model bounding box without weapons) changes with the race scale or the editor scale?

So far in my observation it seems it does NOT but I am very surprised at that and would like confirmation from others.

"Giants" get a bonus in reach per game settings so that would seem to support my observation. They would not need a bonus if the scale of the actor effected the base H2H reach.

I try to document my findings on the CS wiki for this reason... it's surprising how many times I've been helped by doc's I've written there myself...
