Weapon/Spell combination?

I dont know if this has been brought up before, or if they are planing to take it in already, but does it work to do sort of a "One-Time" enchantment with a spell to your weapon? Let's say you have a lightning spell equiped in one hand, and a sword in the other. Will it be able to kinda, imbue the lightning into the sword? To make one powerfull lightning thrust with the sword that deals extra lightning damage, and maybe have a increased chance for critical hit? It would then be reasonable for this to consume quite a bit of magicka.

They haven't said, but I don't think we'll be able to.

I was thinking about something similar to this. Like if you have a bow in one hand and a fire spell in the other, it'd be cool if you could light the arrow on fire and shoot it.

When you have the same spell on both hands, the spell powers up.

Yes, i am full aware of that, thank you. But it was not what i meant. Im thinking about if you can use a spell to "imbue" it into one of you'r weapons, making one fire strike with an axe which cause fire damage over time, or if you read my first example again.

I posted a topic similar to this idea before, except I was thinking about it being partly through enchantment perks : http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?/topic/1179846-more-interesting-enchantment/page__p__17468168#entry17468168

I would really like something like this and anything else that could add extra depth to Spellswords, Nightblades, or Arcane Archer types like thedude213 suggested, but this is quite different from what Bethesda has done in the past so we may have to wait for a mod like this. Though there are a multitude of things to be done with perks if there are 280 of them, so who knows, maybe
