1.2 weapon swap bug!

Since the 1.2 patch, I've been getting a graphical glitch in MP whenever I swap a primary weapon with one on the ground: When I pick the new weapon up, my hands appear empty in the "holding weapon" position for a moment. Then it changes to the newly picked up weapon.

This isn't just an immersion breaker, but has also killed me several times because of the delay.

Has anyone else noticed this?

I hope the dev team fixes this soon.

LOL and yet another amateur mistake from Crytek! Does Crytek's quality assurance even exist? or EA's. This game should not have passed. this game had more money and time than 90% of the games that get released and it seems this game was done over the course of a couple of months.

Sure, creating a new engine takes like a month.

sure as hell doesn't take 3 years. Oh and lets not forget the game isn't even finished yet!

I've not got any weapon bugs at all, runs smooth

but

Crytek sold out.

what i dont get is... why was the console market ever even debated?
"i know, lets give console players a chance to start the story half way through"

Crysis 2 is a SEQUEL! i dont think id of understood The Lord of the Rings if id have just watched 2 and skipped the first

I had this prob pre 1.2, so its not come in with this patch.

Was tempted to go melee the enemies, but that stopped working as well! Ah well

EA screwed up the game by rushing it to release. I wouldn't be surprised if EA is the reason why the community managers are so silent.

xbox 360 it is then,,,, by by pc..... 480 sli p67 blah.. nice to get 100 fps. but total fail. carnt be arsed to tell prolem on pc... said before.. crytek dont G A f..K. sad but true.

This has got me killed quite a few times. It's irritating because you'll be on a streak, run out of ammo, and then when you find a new weapon you spend a few frantic moments trying to get the invisible gun to work and then someone kills you :/

Same issue. Other times when I switch weapons (like L-Tag to scar) it doesn't happen and the L-tag gets pulled out except the holographic sight on top is not folded up.

It's hard enough trying to pick up the fricking weapons on the ground, I spend at least 10 seconds trying to pick up a weapon from someone I just killed, usually resulting in my death. What happened to everything that actually worked in Crysis Wars.

It happen to me a alot because i switch weapons almost every time - primary gun, secondary, granade, hologram attachment etc. It is not probably 1.2 patch problem, i saw it since 1.0 version.
My bet is: It's broken netcode bug. Game does not react to switch properly and stays stucked for a few seconds.
