Weapons and armor you'd like to see added in DLC?

Yeah, I never used the stealth armor in FO3 (only got Anchorage eariler this year, and apparently the end bugged out so there was no armor in the vault), and don't think I found any in OWB (hmmm).

But I've had a couple pieces of Chameleon layered armor, and that stealth effect is terrible. I hate having to stand up or move several feet (and maybe reveal myself) just so I can look at my pip-boy.

Man, how could I forget the Bozar. Being able to mod that with an armor-piercing automatic receiver would be fantastic.

To be honest I was always an energy weapons guy in NV, so I never actually used the Anti-Materiel Rifle. But I can see the need for it - Could be something dedicated purely to long-distance sniping, as opposed to the Hunting/Sniper or Combat Rifles which can be more general purpose depending on the mods.

I'm also totally on board with more Carbine rifles and tribal gear. The few tribals we've seen on the East Coast have been pretty weird.

Lever-action rifle, more rifles in general. Possibly something older, like a musket or a flintlock pistol ( tho that's too old I guess ) but i'd like to see it.

Musket or flintlock pistol would take forever and a day to reload....not to mention too inaccurate and the ammo would be difficult as all get out to find (not that that stops shopkeepers from magically finding cannonballs). In an age of automatic weapons and laser and plasma tech....hahaha no. At least you just crank the Laser musket, it provides a concentrated energy blast and it accepts common ammo.

Not necessarily. it doesn't need to be entirely accurate, it's a game afterall. And with the reload perk, it could work. As a bloodborne fan, I like older guns.

Also, I'd like to see the Chinese Stealth armor make a return. With a removable helmet this time. Maybe? Please? I'm begging again.

Elite Riot Gear, The Chinese stealth suit. I would like to see the return of the Hellfire Power Armor, I would also like to see two newer models of power armor one for the BOS T-70 there's no way the BOS could bring liberty prime back twice and not design a new suit of power armor just for their use and the other could be the X02 power armor designes that left by the institute. When it comes to weapons I would like to see a return of the golbi rifle from NV an actual AR not that bio shock rip off. I would also like to see weapon mods added to your power armor where you can attach a launcher, minigun or laser on the shoulder of the power armor give it a real walking weapon feeling.

As I stated before, there are many old things I would prefer to return, but something new came to mind. Stimpak syringer darts, they would allow you to heal followers, settlers, faction allies, and whoever you please, from a distance. The stimpak dart would be affected by Medic of course.

Bows would be awesome. Tho I imagine arrows would be scarce, unless they added a perk that lets you craft them yourself.

My misunderstanding, i was suggesting burst fire weapons. 2 shot and 3 shot burst weapons would be great in my view for balancing more firepower with ammo conservation.

And yeh i am an avid CS player and would like to see flashbangs that have real drawbacks for the player too. They were present in NV DLC but were very cheesy IMO.

the 10mm sub machine gun

sniper rifle

anything from our world (m16/ak/g36/fn fal/etc etc etc)

anything and everything from NV

the r91 & chinese assault rifle from 3

all the fallout 2 stuff, vindicator & avenger mini gun the yk2 pulse stuff, fn fal (especially the hp4), m60, g11e, etc etc

oh and "little jesus" would be sweet too

id like to see a ballistic rifle version of the gauss gun too, like the m72 gauss rifle from 2, that sound i can still hear it haha

but really id settle for a good normal looking assault rifle and semi auto assault rifle that also has a reasonable weight

in fact i would be perfectly happy if just the battle rifle (m16) from NV was in, that would make my day

If they added riot armor, it would give me a reason to use the armor bench. I love the hell outta riot armor....lonesome road was 90% looking for the additional sets.

Yet I'd love me some real tesla armor...hell fire armor...the plasma caster...or a plasma mini gun...and the incinerator....

Also, Just a smattering about of the old classic guns. I dislike opening safes in places that supposedly have yet to be infiltrated by raiders or scavengers and finding pipe pistols and what not. Also.. Where's my BB gun? That thing has been in every iteration of fallout. Why would it suddenly disappear in Boston? Didn't kids in Boston enjoy shooting their eye out like the rest of the country?

With AP ammo option for crack those armored muties and gunners!

Oh and can we get a M2 .50 cal...single barrel or mini gun option?

I feel .50 cal rounds are the most useless in the game right now.

I'd be down for a flintlock, even if it was a little silly. Maybe they could do something else like the Laser Musket and make an Energy Flintlock? Instead of igniting powder, you'd be igniting some sort of sci-fi explosive compound to blast a bolt of plasma or something out of the gun.

I've yet to find a location or container where I could safely assume I was the first person inside. That's my logic, anyway.

for weapons , only one i really miss is the grenade launcher everything else you can actually build yourself even a anti material rifle

for ammo fiddling with a dozen or so ammo types no thx

one more thing i would like is a adjustable zoom lzvezl for riflescopes

I'm hoping for ammo crafting in general in a dlc or patch like with Dawnguard in Skyrim. So maybe if they would add it, you could craft arrows with wood and steel or something. Maybe they could add arrows with effects, like radiation damage, or explosive arrows with incendiary damage or a pulse arrow or something. I think it would be cool, but the likelihood of bows being included is unfortunately pretty slim.

  • Rail Cannon from Project Nevada (maybe as some sort of institute unique?)
  • http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/45012/? (Institue weapon that's lighter version of the bulkier flamer.)
  • Plasma Caster. Has a higher fire rate and higher damage than the normal plasma rifle in exchange for accuracy and weight. Following mods (plus improved versions)
    • Charge capacitor: Removes auto, gives the ability to charge a plasma shot, consuming 1 cart per second for up to x seconds (Depending on version). Projectile will grow in size, exploding on impact (turns the caster into a BFG essentially).
    • Smitty Fins: Automatic mode. Higher fire rate but lowered damage.
    • Cutting fins: better bash
    • Plasma Mortar: Changes it into a plasma incinerator: Plasma will arc and explode in a small area on impact for energy and ballistic damage.
    • Canister capacitor: Turns the caster into a giant shotgun, shooting 9 projectiles in a wide spread.
    • Particle Accelerator: Lowers fire rate and energy damage slightly but increases ballistic damage and superior projectile speed.
    • Particle Projectile Cannon : Drasticly lowered fire rate, single, higher ammo consumption. superior damage, changes projectile into a massive beam (like the tesla cannon).
  • More heavy weapons in general. I want more weapons to go along with my power armor. I look just plain silly running around with a tiny laser rifle much less a pistol when I'm in big hulking power armor.
  • More advanced Institute stuff (Seriously, the institute rifle and pistol are complete disappointments.)
  • Alien Disintegrator and Captians Sidearm (Even if its just mods.)
  • Incinerator (Could be a Flamer modification ALA the Cyrolator's crystalizing barrel.)
  • Chaingun. Or even tank weapon (I want to rip one of those barrels off one of those pre-war tanks and use it with my power armor.)

  • "Turret Grenade": Throw a grenade and it unfolds into a Turret that explodes after 30 seconds. Comes in different flavors.
  • Artillary designator. Because the current system of smoke grenades is SOOOO clunky to use.

Existing weapons:

  • More mods for the Broadsider and a way to craft cannonballs. I want some sort of explosive/energy canonball addon, graqeshot addon, etc. Something that I can do to make the broadsider more powerful than a gauss rifle.
  • More mods for heavy weapons in general.

  • T-57 and Vault Tec power armors (from Project Nevada)
  • East Coast Enclave armors (including hellfire. But I want to earn them, not having them just sitting around in a cage locked by a novice console on a beached boat on the coast.)
  • Honestly, any power armor that isn't an existing power armor with smaller pauldrons and a built-in feeding trough.

These weapons should have been in the core game period:

Plasma Caster and/or Tesla Cannon - I would accept it if at least one had been in the game.

Anti-Material Rifles - There needs to be sniper rifles, and then you have sniper mother@#$%ing rifles.

Pump-action shotguns - the step between the two barrel and combat shotguns

Actual 10mm Submachine Guns

Grenade Launchers - Honestly, I could live without the rest of these being added, but why this wasn't added is beyond me.

More unarmed weapons. What would be fantastic is a gloved fist that fires a projectile on impact(as featured in inglorious bastards)
Bayonet attachment to laser musket
Actual flintlock musket
Colt .45
Lee-Enfield rifle
Ornate large caliber hunting rifle
That brings me to adding aesthetic crafting options to guns - gold/silver inlays in particular.

I would line them to refrain from adding M4/M1 or other common military rifles. Played them in too many games already and it doesn't fit too well in the fallout universe.

Armor.
Number one thing I would like to see is craft able armor from harvested creature parts. Like rad scorpion carapace and mirelurk greaves - just some quick examples.

Would like to have a DLC that has an Easter egg side quest that grants single NCR ranger full suit of armor.

Nuka cola girl space suit armor

Football helmet/pads, would provide bonuses when blitz/pain train are used.

Easter egg armor remenecient of Doomguy

Nah. we already have laser musket for that. I'm talking about old fashioned musket and a flintlock.

I really want them to include bows because only real silent weapons are melee weapons, since silencer can be heard by enemies if they aren't too far. So bows would be perfect silent ranged weapons.
