nope, no one shot kill weapons in the game peroid. Nades, Lazarus nades(mass resurrect), EMP, and molotov's are the ones we have.

there are molotovs and things like that but no throwing knives or axes or anything like that.

While there are no ohk weapons in Brink there are really cool weapons thanks to the art style of the game. Add to that the level of customization that you can apply to an individual weapon and you will see some pretty awesome looking weapons.

In relation to a CoD game, I inderstand that if you have a pistol you will carry a knife in the other hand, though it will not be a ohk knife

that the great thing about this game its no going to be like COD if you see an enemy first that enemy will most likely die first. brink gives us a chance to turn on an enemy and i think the only 1 shot gun would be a buffed sniper rifle to the dome. other than that every thing else in is balance i know me personally with have no complains about this game.

this thread dose not surprise me one bit <_< ,COD player hears about brink and wants to know if everything in COD is in brink, why would it be? and why would you want a game thats the same as some other game? i want something original, not the same "lets do the same thing over and over" games

hey it wasnt the same thing! in Bad Ops you had a m4 an ak47 a mp5 a m60 and 3 different types of color coded perks you can choose from oh and lets not forget how the multiplayer modes main type was TDM and nobody really teamed they just choose it so they can spawn camp better and single player you jumped between multiple story lines totally unlike the other games. thats totally all new right?

I don′t want a game like cod. I know that brink is a totally new and exceptional shooter so i guess there are totally new epic weapons!

ironically no you just get cartoony variations of real weapons http://brink.wikia.com/wiki/Weapons ,note: these are just your guns you get abilities that give you other things such as automated turrets and molotov cocktails.

only ohk is the bolt sniper against a unbuffed light, other than that you have to actually work for it. grenaders more so thin the tide if theres a large group of enemys a nader can knock people down or incap woundeds but it won't OHK you at full health.

It's a shooter, it is the same basic things over and over again, particularly when it comes to weapons.

a better question would be are there any weapons that are "unique" to the game like the tomahawk and ballistic knife were to Black Ops? Many shooters have weapons that make them "standout" in the FPS arms race. In the case of Brink I believe the tremendous attachment customization might be the "standout" weapon feature as opposed to any one item.

You can have fully-automatic grenade launchers, sentry guns, sticky grenades, as many gun attachments as you want, breaching charges (for blowing barricades and stuff up),
so there are some cool gadgets, but not as many as in COD.

I would like for all of this to be in the game. I'd also like to have vehicles too. All vehicles must have baseball bats that swing around on the sides, front, back and on top of the vehicle. It also must have a novelty horn.

Yet another Call of Duty layman, asking if BRINK is Call of Duty.

Clearly it's not obivous enough that it's not, so I vote BRINK's offical tagline to be "Fighting against the call of duty".

And even then, we'd have a swarm of COD laymans who simply did not or could not understand it.

You guys could be a little nicer to others who are just asking simple questions, you are already giving the Brink community a bad name.

The entire premise of BRINK is to break away from Call of Duty's iron grip on the FPS.

Asking if BRINK is like Call of Duty is a straight out insult.
