Well i can tell you in a 5.56 that bullet gets about 400 degrees Fahrenheit in the barrel.

So the wax will be melted, that's even better for poison dispersal.

consider how easy wax melt...not really, his point is with that heat the wax would melt and the poison would evaporate before the bullet left the barrel (or mid air).

there is a reason you don′t read about poison bullets being used in crime or other shady business.

Poison darts or arrows would seem a lot more appropriate than poison bullets...

Ricin has been used in small pellets to assassinate people before, so how about poisoned BBs?

I don't know about that. Have you ever stuffed wax in a hollowpoint and fired it? No? So how do you know what would happen? It might work and it might not. Aerodynamically, I see no way that the air could "carve" the wax out of the hollowpoint, and physically, the forces involved would actually hold the wax inside the bullet.

That's true I'm just saying it seems like there are too many things that could [censored] it up not anything that for sure would.

Well, I guess we could try to pick a poison that we actually have an antidote for. Either that or the 401K. I hear they match up to 5%!

What is the difference between a plinking round and a regular round?

JSP is jacketed soft point. It's basically a hunting round for penetration and expansion.

Edit: plinking is just going out shooting stuff like cans and targets. You use lower power cheaper rounds generally.

Thank you!

Don't plinkers essentially desinigrate on target, making them safe practice rounds in populated areas?

Wad cutters are a square faced bullet designed for target shooting. Because they're not round nosed, punch a clean hole in a target for easier scoring.
Jacketed Soft Point are, well, soft point bullets (ie:regular lead) with a metal (usually cupro-nickel) jacketing covering all but the point. The jacketing is used to reduce lead fouling in the bore, while the unjacketed soft lead point is easier to expand on contact with the target.

No, it's just cheap low power ammo for shooting a lot.

That's what I thought, thanks!

Also weren't beanbag rounds for shotguns confirmed?

Rgr that .46 and Cookie,

Never been "plinking" Only got my Glock 19c, it'll eat up some paper quite beautifully...

APERTURESC1ENCE, can you find somewhere it was said, because I was just about to ask about Less Lethal Ammunition aswell...

I would assume there is some form, because there are less lethal ways of taking down an opponent, Like the KO from boxing gloves.

I would not mind a few less lethal weapons and ammo. Some kind of gas grenade would be pretty neat though it would have to just lower stats because if the enemy just started falling over and dry heaving it would be pretty cheap.

Beanbag rounds would be pretty cool. And they've said that you can play through without killing anyone, there hasn't been anything said about royally jacking them up though. :toughninja:

Also will the mods attached effect the overall weight of the gun, And for the ones with mag or clip mods, will it adjust the balance/sensativity ( doubt they would take it that far)

My Glock 19c deffinetly has much more accuracy with its 30 round clip during quick succession shots, due to the weight helping keep muzzle rise down. (not saying there is much, but there deffinetly is a nicer balance and cleaner succesive shots with it in)
