Ok yea I noticed the crosshair totally makes it look like a foregrip and I didn't see any Tommy Gun mod on the nexus that resembled the gun on the table. Ok well maybe it is a New Vegas screenshot but I swear if that doesn't throw you off were that crosshair is at.

I am pretty sure though and any modder can correct me if I am wrong but with the gamebyro engine I do not think it is possible to have a weapon with a foregrip and that would explain why there isn't one in the wiki Laser RCW screenshot. I know that seems silly and again I could be wrong but even the Tommy Gun mod I found on Nexus for Fallout 3 he had issue's with it.

Why not? The engine doesn't limit that, its just making a new animation so the hand is on the fore grip instead of the barrel grip.

Yea I am not argueing with that or anything ethier, you gotta think about it like what is a foregrip mod to the weapon going to do that the other grip isn't? Maybe the foregrip decreases range of the weapon while making it more stable (less recoil etc)? While the grip we see on wiki makes it have more accuracy or range?

See that is all a possibility but my bet is that there is no foregrip avaible for the gun and I am not trying to be negative and sorry for jumping the gun Enduring Protectron if I had read your post & thought about what you said about the crosshair id of stopped right then you are correct. I am happy ethier way about the gun, it is cool enough for me to want to make a mobster type character with laser weapons tagged. Though I will say right now my bets are that we will not get a foregrip for the Laser RCW, it just doesn't make sense that there wouldn't be one there in the screenshots. You have the drum mag, the Tommy Gun look so why not the foregrip as well? It just makes more sense to me that is all.

No there's not, the crosshair makes it look like its a Tommy Gun foregrip. Its just a regular Thompson grip, which is the main reason I jumped the gun I put two & two together from both screenshots and then immedialty figured it was a Fallout 3 Tommy Gun mod that someone changed the name to Laser RCW to make people flip out like I did about there being a Laser Tommy Gun in the game. The color change of the HUD was just another possible reason I figured it was a Fallout 3 screenshot. The wiki screenshot and the screenshot of the gun on the table didn't even really match up a whole lot to me ethier.

Not every tommy gun needs the vertical foregrip, especially a fictional lazor version of it.

Oh, I see, you're right, no foregrip. But that doesnt mean its FO3. Probably comes stock without the foregrip. Just because it doesn't have a foregrip already on it doesn't mean its automatically from FO3. Same with the HUD, you can change it in both games.

I think they can pretty easily change the left hand grip animation, so yeah, I think a foregrip mod is possible.

Yea as I said I dunno who knows im just really glad to see the gun in the game, I hope there is a foregrip handle mod for it though yea.

I'm pretty certain that the RCW in both pictures are both from New Vegas and not a mod, the weapon itself resembles a M1 Thompson used during WW2 as it lacks a forward "pistol" grip, I imagine the reason it lacks it is because it is a laser weapon which produces minimal recoil so barrel climb is not an issue. However seeing as I do not technically exist, my opinion is irrelevant.

Explosive weapons please? :D

I'm really happy that they've put the M79 in the game, it's always one of my favorite weapons in any game it's in. One thing I am wondering about though is the viability of a purely explosives tagged character, from what I have seen it looks like there are a lot more explosive weapons in the game. I'm just wondering if it'll be enough to go through the entire game.

We could start an invigorating discussion about whether laser weapons should have recoil. Since light, by some definitions has mass, and the laws of physics always win, technically lasers do have recoil. Itty bitty bits of recoil, but recoil none the less.
