No varmint loads yet. Maybe they were planned with the Varmint Rifle, who knows how the change in caliber changed other things.

Yeah, imagine a LMG firing snakeshot

Efficacy on radraoches - substantial
Efficacy on power armor - abysmal

(I just noticed: there are 560 people on the forum tonight. wow.)

I'm new here, so sorry if this has been mentioned, but is the Anti-Materiel Rifle unique? I'm assuming it is, but then that would leave it with no other weapon to repair it with? (maybe the Jury Rigging perk could do something)

I don't think so. Considering their naming conventions on uniques, ie: proper names, not descriptive one, I think you'll see plenty of them around. I imagine it will be about as prevalent as the Sniper Rifle was in FO3.

Edit: Dude, BoSS, that's twice tonight you've 'ja'ed me. Nice moves. I think I might have to decorate you again.

I assume that they are limited but there will probably be a lot overall because the mods are tailored to a specific weapon type. e.g. You cant put a 9mm Pistol mod on a .357 Magnum.

so you cant make them?

Nope, you buy them. Only thing you can make is poisons, ammos, etc.

Nopers. Not in the build them from scratch sense. You do add them on the weapons as you please (in the pip-boy interface)

Same here, I have school then therapy/rehab.
And I just found out via wiki that there is also a recharger pistol. Where did this show up?
And now there is a unique Gauss Rifle...

Don't know and if Fo3 logic dictates then that means thermal will be useless against ghouls since they have no body heat...
also your avatar is fine, I think it just depends on what you were going for

Well chaps I'm out of here till next week (don't want spoiled more than I already have been) seeing as I don't get to play till Friday. I'm looking forward to the Gobi Campaign Rifle and the Cattle Prod and .46ACP's BB Gauss ;) I hope all the weapons live up to your expectations, but more importantly have fun shooting the bad guys :)

Green? Probably. Avatar is nice. I think I'll go see if I can find one again.

I forgot to ask rehab? Knee? I can't remember?

Recharger pistol makes sense. Why implement the charging up code for just one weapon? The unique Gauss was up before wasn't it?

Thank you. But i know it's the mod, but night-vision can mean alot of things, does it mean thermal in this case?

Toodles, you will be missed. :wavey:

Night-Vision and Thermal are too different things, thermal recognizes body heat by highlighting it white, and night-vision alters the light-spectrum (i think?) so you can see things more clearly, probably with the traditional green, maybe even red (NCR Ranger helmet has a red visor). Or use infrared vision.
