By svck I mean are generally bad or that they just aren't any good by the time you reach...lets say freeside.mine had to be Big boomer, it's just a really badass shotgun but the one shot in the magazine just wasn't very good for taking on the Legion hordes.

Dude, Big Boomer is powerful to the point of being OP.

For me, the Service Rifle or .357 Mag. revolver. Fully upgraded the .357 stays pretty good for Fiends and Powder Gangers, but in lacks the punch a high level sidearm needs.
