Now that we're a week in and most people will have had the chance to try their hand with some of the Gats that Crysis 2 offers. It would be interesting to see what people are running around with as I seem to have been slaughtered by every one of them.

Until I get the Scarab which I HOPE will be the successor to the Feline my choice so far has to be:

Feline - Suppressor - Extended Mag - Iron Sight

I have high hopes for the scarab too.

I like the look of the scar but find Feline much better close-medium, and at long range you can still burst fire to get kills. Seems to have much less recoil than the SCAR.

I have only used the scar so far. Shame on me. I'll test the Feline tomorrow!

I'm working on leveling up the SCAR, Feline, M60 and Grendal simultaneously so I keep swapping between them depending on my mood.

Scar is a good gun but doesn't really enthuse me, I prefer the Feline (same build as above).

I really want to like the Grendal as generally I enjoy the semi auto battle rifles in BC2, MoH, BO etc, but in this game, getting kills with that thing just seems like too much hard work and I may give up on it soon.

My favorite though (as in every shooter I play) is the LMG, I guess it just suits the way I play and shoot, keep it simple and just run it with a reflex sight and extended mag.

Grendal.... theres a secret how to use it. You just dominated the playground.

Agreed, Grendal is a beast. Grendal with 3x zoom scope, higher fire rate, and grenade attachment is BAM!!

Mine would be... the Grendal as well! And for side arms, the Majestics. Loving the game so far !!

I liked the Volt for a bit but it takes way to long to kill people with it i get so many assists with it ahah
my setup is the Scarab extended mag, silencer, extended clip and gauss attachment
i ususally switch between the two

My setup is the same as yours. The weapon of choice is a reflection on your gamestyle so beacause I run all over the place with my mobility enhancement I need a lightweight of a gun. Hence the feline. Did 500 kills with the Feline and then tried with the scar again and it didn't do anything for me. It was too heavy so my energy dropped very fast.

Didn't like the scarab cause of the weight.

Feline + Extended Mags + Silencer (sometimes reflex sight if I feel like it)

I really like other guns like the M60, but the Feline is too awesome in 1 vs 1 scenarios.

I vary what gun I play with to which map I play on and which mode I play.
My current setups are

Scar, Reflex Sight, Extended Mags
Feline, Reflex Sight, Supressor, Extended Mags
Scarab, Reflex Sight, Extended Mags
Grendel, Assault Scope, Extended Mags, (use rapid fire too)
My side arm is always the AYR.

I only use the LMG if I decide to play IA..

Perks:

Energy Trans
Stealth
Mobility

So far ... every Instant Action is mine
Pushed my K/D from 1.7 to 2.5

i love the feline and scar. im gonna try first attempt at shotgun later
i cant get on with the m60 guns.

If shottys wasnts so underpowered i'd go with them due to the looks of em and gameplay. But now its not so so..
Feline - Suppressor - Extended Mag - Iron Sight is what i play mostly now.. Been trying out some sniper on the side of it.. But to much issues with the sniper atm so i guess i'll stick with the Feline.

Seems alot of players are using the same weapon setup.... But who can blame us. Feline is a great weapon for us non campers that always are on the run...

Scarab -Iron Sight - Extended Mags

I used silencer on the scarab earlier but i noticed that i could not see **** while shooting in either normal vision or nano vision so I took it off I have also tried red dot sight but I think the weapon look ugly with that so I took that off too.

Anyone tried the X-43 Mike yet? Will unlock it soon but want to know what to expect. Does it ignore the armor?

I haven't tried it myself, but one guy killed me pretty quick with it before I could even react with my Feline. It's a strictly close ranged weapon from what I hear, so treat it like a shotgun.

Will have this baby tonight. Cannot wait to upgrade the trusty Feline. On lvl 26 now.

X-43 Mike. Yup. Probably the only primary gun I will ever use rapid fire on. Oh god this thing's a death ray.

If I'm feeling a little more "reach out and touch you", I'd have to go for the Grendel with single shot and a 3x scope.

The grendal I kill alot of people with this gun.. but there is a secret to using it though hope yall find out

I believe they are talking about the single shot option since u can tap it quit fast and it kills realy fast aswell.

I ve tested it and got score s like 18-1 etc etc.... as usual , good gun , but scarab with all it s stuff wins the battle.
