Yes...but not because of the enchants. Because of the immersion. And Daggerfall allowed clothing under armor. Well...I don't really care if there aren't any good clothes. Not just a plain shirt or anything. I want stuff like the Khajiit suit from Daggerfall and a lot more variety of clothing.

I'd quite like to wear clothing over light armour. It's not massively important to me though... as long as they give us a larger variety of both clothing and armour than found in Oblivion, i'm happy.

It would be good for a mage. You look like you're just a frail robed mage but they don't know you're packing daedric armor underneath.

I definitely want clothes under armor. I don't care about the enchantments, it'll just be that cooler

In Morrowind....I used to always wear Rich Robes over my Majestic Armour.

Clothing over and under armor, yes. But not for the enchantments.

How is my battlemage supposed to look like a battlemage when I can't wear a robe with my armor?

Let's not play the enchantment card. You'll just bring in all of those angry "LOL BALANCE" characters. But yes, I'd love to have layered clothing and armor if only for the sake of immersion. In Daggerfall, there was an item called a khajiit suit which lots of people used to have their people wear under their plate armor, as a layer of "padding". Kind of miss that.

Some type of "Multi-layer" system would be well received imo!

i wish they would bring it back. it sounds silly but when i first started playing oblivion i kept wondering how badly chafed my guy was since all he had was a loincloth between him and sharp possibly rusty metal armor. i imagined him having lots of skin sores oozing puss out all the time. hell in morrowind i used to put a nordic robe over my character to keep him warm in the northern part of solstheim. :)

Yes and I like that many you want it to be that way for the immersion
I never expected this

Frankly speaking I want Allods armor system. Light armor is worn under heavy armor. I.e. ringmail under platemail.

In fact heavy armor in OB was exactly like that.

only some cloths though, like robes and hoods over armour, i dont want to have really bulky normal trousers and shirts, i think it would look a bit silly, like a american football player, it would have lots of padding kind of look.

I think choice is what we need, meaning the armour would be positioned in the order that we equipped it maybe? I'm not sure how much work would be needed to make it so this could be done and work well though.

It would mean you don't have to strip your dead enemies down to their undies just to loot their armour! I mean, as regards immersion that's not exactly convincing (sure of course NPCs with nice clothes you might still do that, but mostly bandits you'll only be looting the armour).

I'd like to wear clothes over my armour, I always felt out of place wandering around in Oblivion with full daedric on. At least in Morrowind I could cover it up with a robe.
