Better late than never, right? 0.9.9.5 is now up at Nexus, other mirrors will have to wait because the uploads are happening too slowly right now.

Thanks Arthmoor! This is quite a nice release; great work to you and wrinklyninja! ...too bad we've run out of 0.9.x numbers! Ha. I assume you also included the fixed Chorrol textures I sent you. I'll check later.

Doh! I knew I forgot something. Been away from modding FO3/Oblivion too long, and forgot about doing clean saves. Thanks :) I did a clean save and no more error.

help

i am trying to do a clean save. after i deactivate AN my save game crashes. this is what i'm doing:

- fw 38eee then save game
- deactivate All Natural 0.9.9 Fix Pack v2.2
- deactivate All Natural 0.9.9
- rebuild bash patch

my save game crashes. i can reinstall AN 0.9.9 and rebuild my bashed patch and get my saved game to load correctly. any ideas?

Hmm. How about just trying to drag 'n' drop upgrade, and then once you've got AN 0995 installed, do a clean save 'upgrade'. Not sure how good an idea that is, but I can't think of anything else. I've never found a game to be reliant on AN like that. :shrug:

Try completely uninstalling it via BAIN, then manually delete the ESM+ESPs so that there aren't any left, including the one for the indoor filter and any dependent patches like the one for Kvatch Rebuilt.

Rebuild the bashed patch.

Load your game, should be able to do so without any trouble. Save in a new slot.

Install 0995. Load the game. You should be good to go.

It seems after every time I load a save, the weather will almost certainly reset whenever I make an interior <-> exterior cell change. Is this normal, and is there anything that can be done about it?

Also, my interiors are in much better shape than they were. Lighting works better, and I can hear sounds... However, the only sounds I can hear are soft wind sounds. My music is disabled, so I don't think it's a matter of it not being loud enough. Claps of thunder, rain, and loud wind can't be heard. Is this a conflict between S&S and All Natural (I uninstalled MIS), or might it be attributed to sound settings? I use Win7, so there are obviously some problems with DirectSound3d, and I don't know how well the software engine works.

Any thoughts?

No for the first, make sure that you did a clean save upgrade, and if that doesn't change anything, then PYLO.

Thunder and rain are both noticeably louder than the wind sounds, so if you've got an appropriate weather active, you'll definitely hear them. S&S's weather sounds are a lot louder than AN's sounds, so it could be that you're just losing AN's sounds amongst S&S's ones. OS and whatnot won't have anything to do with it, I don't think, and both Arthmoor and I are also on 7 anyway.

Firstly, Thank You very much for this modification. It adds just that bit of immersion I want in my games and makes the experience so much better.

The bad part is that I have not been able to use this mod for too long. Using version 0.9.9 I suddenly had Oblivion red sky wherever I went. I quickly narroved the problem down to this mod, as I had just installed it a couple of hours before. Tried to fix that for a couple of hours, and you can guess my pleasure, when I noticed the new version which corrected that bug was released that very same day.

So I did a clean save and installed version 0.9.9.5, which to my joy really did fix the sky. After a while playing I however noticed (after exiting the game), that I could not load my saves that were made with version 0.9.9.5 enabled, without the game crashing to desktop. Well, I loaded an earlier game and made an even cleaner (if possible) save and tried enabling version 0.9.9.5 again. No luck.

Then I tested and tested for hours until now, disabling/re-ordering mods, changing configurations, rebuilding Bashed Patch in numerous ways, making a OMOD and installing manually. I noticed that when starting the clean save with 0.9.9.5 enabled, I could load a new save with that mod if the save was made in the same interior space the clean save was. After exiting, all saves made thereafter were not loadable. The only way to get it "working", was to merge the esps into the Bashed Patch like told in the readme, leaving all but Real Lights.esp UNCHECKED. The mod does initialize this way and lets you actually play, but of course the mod itself did not work fully.

I have run out of ideas and hoped if anyone else were having similar problems. Any advice or hints are welcome. Thank You.

I'm not quite getting exactly what you did. I certainly can't see how having 0995 enabled is preventing the game from loading, as I've been test running it now for a few weeks with no trouble. I've had 6 characters perform the clean save upgrade process. So if it helps, this is what I did:

1. Stop somewhere and save. (outdoors, indoors, doesn't seem to matter)
2. Deactivate All Natural.esm. This will then cause the two dependent ESPs to deactivate, and the bashed patch too.
3. Load the game, as is, without rebuilding the patch. (though you should be able to rebuild it for this if you need it to stay on)
4. Save again.
5. Delete the old ESPs from the weather plugins as they are no longer needed.
6. Copy in the new files. ESM, ESPs, BSA.
7. Rebuild the patch.
8. Load the game. It'll take a moment for things to settle in, but once they do you should be good to go.

Steps 3 & 4 to repeat for as many characters as you have.

If you need the patch in order for the game to work right, then before rebuilding it, make sure you've deleted all of the old AN contents first so that it can't pick them up without you knowing about it. And be mindful it may be hiding in ghosted form.

Thanks for the update! I really like ini configurations so I'm looking forward to it. Anyway, I'm in the process of updating and http://i45.tinypic.com/2nao8pu.jpg after

1. Uninstalling previous All Natural via BAIN, checking that esp's/esm were removed.
2. Rebuilding Bashed Patch (had to as master was missing otherwise).
3. Loading save.

For those who don't have Frostcrag, the room is overlit. Might be returned to normal when updating to the latest AN, which I haven't done yet, but I wonder what might cause it when having removed the mod? Did BAIN miss something when uninstalling? Also, can't see anything odd in the Bashed Patch.

If that's where you saved to do the clean save, Frostcrag has an interior climate assigned because it's a recycled vanilla cell. The game probably used the lighting data from the default clear weather instead of properly loading the normal lighting conditions. It should fix itself if you leave and come back. It will definitely fix itself once you've updated AN and it asserts a proper climate/weather setting.

I'm getting the different-weather-at-interior-and-exterior "phenomena", I installed the latest W:AN (version 0.9.9.5) and it's the first time I used W:AN after previously using Enhanced Weather on this machine. I did "clean save" within one of the Imperial City sewers. I got out of the sewers, the night sky is bright and then some times later (at day time), it began to rain on the Imperial City (still normal at this point), then I entered one of the buildings and...the sun shine and no rain! Even the innkeeper seemed happy about it. Then I got out, and it's raining! I got in again, it's sun shine... any suggestion as to what had happened? :confused:

It occurred after I did "clean save" in Talos Plaza Sewers.

IIRC, I loaded a previous save just after entering the sewer, then I explored the IC sewers, killing enemy, taking loots (I despised the idea of standing idle "waiting" for three days, therefore I decided to do some work to "fill the gap" ;) ), note that I didn't exit to exterior during this time.

then I entered one of the buildings and...the sun shine and no rain! Even the innkeeper seemed happy about it. Then I got out, and it's raining! I got in again, it's sun shine... any suggestion as to what had happened? :confused:


Which building was it?

Clean saving does not require a 3-day wait.

Which building was it?

The first building that was entered after exiting the sewer was The Merchants Inn (I recalled at least entering and exiting it twice to "be sure" of the weather), then IIRC my char entered another tavern/inn in Elven Gardens District which also suffered from the same phenomena, and another tavern at Talos Plaza District.

Clean saving does not require a 3-day wait.

It doesn't? Well, in any case, I did make my char do lots of work on the sewers, moving from one sewer to the next, without ever exiting to the exterior above.

Also, I saw that the Real Lights feature work fully as intended, though, because the moment I loaded a new save game with W:AN activated in the sewer, it was...total darkness (luckily my char was a Khajiit :D )

Did it now? I'm so, so sorry for your loss. ;) We can add it back in for the next version. I never even realised we had a screenshot for it. I think I did 0.9.9.5's conversion data from scratch.

It's possible that the weather script continued to execute during this time, and that may have messed things up. The upgrade procedure got changed recently to account for this, try doing it as in the readme, with the save then immediate exit, and see if that fixes anything.

Nexus guy says he's still getting the same thing, just in Bruma though, but I can't duplicate. I can't really think what's going wrong...

I have an issue after updating to All Natural 0-9-9-5 (from a clean save). At first everything worked perfectly, but after a Fast Travel the sky texture was missing, resulting in a http://i50.tinypic.com/11b4vlz.jpg. At first I thought it was an issue with resources loading as I can get that after extensive play - never happened with the sky before, though. But the issue is still there after exiting the game and restarting/reloading the save, so that doesn't seem to be it. I did a clean save again and switched from AWS to all weathers in the ini. Everything went swimmingly again for a while, but when exiting Frostcrag I suddenly had the pink sky again. This time I could see the sky texture for a couple of seconds but then it disappeared, leaving the pink sky.

Guess it's something on my side as I haven't seen this reported, but not sure what.

Pretty odd, especially since it's the whole sky, and not just one layer. Grab my http://www.4shared.com/file/MsNSrHYp/Weather_Debug_Ring.html, equip it and it prints weather info, including the formID of the current weather, to the console. If you do that when you get the pink sky, I'll take a look at that weather. It's possibly something that got messed up when the AWS textures were upgraded, I suppose.
