The choice of which weather mod you want to use has been moved to the All Natural.ini

It don't works... :( I get vanilla weather only!

Having as sky issue with my all natural mod, basically I was having some trouble updating from the previous to version 0.9.9.5 but with Arthmoor help I gort it sorted...now I have a different problem which apparently was a bug that was corrected in 0.9.9.5 and the subsequent fixpack, but it would seem for me the issue still exists, when getting close to an Oblivion Gate the weather changes and the sky goes red and after doing what needs to be done and coming out of the gate on closing it the weather goes back to normal...mine hasn't the sky stays red and still raws with thunder and lightening.

A clean save was performed for the update as required but as said it was an issue that was corrected so I'm not sure if it's as isolated issue to me or weather it still exist.

If anyone can help me fix it, it would be nice :)

Hi :)

I have a small question concerning color tints of weathers. Let's say I want to change the color tint during sunrise for a specific weather (ex: only one clear weather from NW). How do I do that? Is it possible?
Can I just open the All Natural.esp (or esm) and go to weather and manually change it?

I have installed all natural .0995 through bain and ran boss, also did a clean save prior to bain install. I ran it through the rebuilt bash and when I start the game and it goes to the game the sky is purple don't know why never had this problem with all natural before any thought s and help would be appreciated.

I would say it wounds like missing textures. Do you have the file All Natural.bsa in your data folder?

Thank you for your work; the weather is gorgeous.
Everything seems to have been installed correctly, but i feel like the windows aren't quite working the way they are supposed to. The chapel windows work beautifully (can see outer walls and clouds) but the home windows are sort of too translucent and I cannot make much out of it.

Can someone tell me if this works with the Steam version? I installed Obse v18, but when I try to install the OMOD version it saids my Obse version is old. Thanks

I checked my data folder and I saw the oblivion icon with all natural in it and also the esp and all the other stuff. I do have the esm and all the esp stuff ran it through boss and also rebuilt the bash. So I don't know where I went worng this is the first ting I have installed through bain usually I use obmm Thanks in advance for any help

Could you type in the console "sqv ANWeatherQuest" and check the value of "Oblivion", "nearestGate", and the various "*weather" (you can also use the http://www.4shared.com/file/SOyJSOyg/Weather_Debug_Ring.html provided by Wrinklyninja to get the current weather id)?
000836D5 should be your current weather (OblivionStormTamriel).
If Oblivion=1 then the fix is not installed or somehow failed to work properly.
If Oblivion=0 then the fix is installed but somehow failed to work properly. :P

Either way, if you want to change the current weather with AN, use the following commands:
set ANWeatherQuest.flag to 1set ANWeatherQuest.weatherShouldForce to 1

If "Oblivion" variable is set to 1, you will need to do type this before:
set ANWeatherQuest.Oblivion to 0

Looks like your Oblivion Gate weather is getting stuck on still. That shouldn't be happening any more. The fix pack can be applied without any clean saving, just direct replacement of the existing files. I'm not sure why it's still getting stuck, but I'll take another look.

Yes, just open up All Natural.esm in the CS or TES4Edit and make the change to the relevant weather's colours, though if you tell me which weather it is, I will take a look at it myself and see if it does need tweaking, and so I can do so for the next version.

I'm not sure about the Steam version and OBMM, if it's giving you errors just install AN using BAIN or manually instead (or edit the OMOD script to remove the version check if you want).

It definitely works. Try installing it manually or with BAIN.

I know cause I have the Steam version, and I use AN myself.

Interesting. I'll have to take a look at those and see what he's done because the current modified vanilla skydomes in Real Lights don't look as nice.

Generic buildings used in many places do not have full exteriors, they just have transparent windows with sky textures so you can see the weather, only unique buildings have the full package of outside exteriors. It's not really possible to make it work with buildings that are used multiple places i think.

Since the update was released, and installed, on loading game when I open console I get always a bunch of error messages I don't understand and I also have vanilla weather more than week now.
Would like to see my favourite weather mod back on track.

If you use steam you have to place the obse_loader.exe in your oblivion folder, Steam does not use that file, but the obmm script looks for it. It does not hurt in any way to just have it in folder.

Would like to see my favourite weather mod back on track.


You MUST do a clean save to upgrade from anything prior to 0.9.9.5. If you have not done this, your console will fill with errors, and no actual weather transitions will take place. Only once you have 0.9.9.5 properly installed can you then install the fixpack and have it work.

Okay I readded the fix pack (doing a clean save as it was done before wrinklyninja reply and to be on the safe side) and the .esm file was was a different size to the one installed, loaded up the game the weather was clear (as it was a clean save) entered Cheydinhal and it was the Oblivion weather went back out the gate and that weather had changed to Oblivion weather to, entered Cheydinhal AGAIN this time the weather was normal went outside once more and that was normal to. The weather inside Cheydinhal was Oblivion when I had save it so maybe that's why it was still like that upon entering the first time but fixed on the second but I don't know. Weather is working at the moment so the fix may have worked but then I won't know if it gets stuck again until I close another gate.

There's a possibility that with the trouble I was having updating the mod that I forgot to reapply the fix, if that turns out to be the case then my apologizes for wasting peoples time :angel:

I typed what you asked to in the console and downloaded the debug ring but what info it came up with in the console means nothing to me so thought I'd just post screens lol :)

Thanks. I'm just gonna try and experiment with some things and see how it works. If I like the experimental results, I can post it here.
I have one more tiny question though. Let's say I want to view a specific weather in-game. Is there any command for that? Like the forceweather (fw). I only know FW 38EEE (clear).
It would be good to know, since it's kind of hard to keep track of all weathers in-game.

Use fw to view the weather without a transition. You can get the ids from looking at the weathers FormIDs in the master file in TES4Edit. Use my weather debug ring to get the formid of a weather in game.

I had 0.9.9.5 working perfectly.
Added the fix... error messages.
Will try again with ununstalling the whole mod, saving without it, loading o.9.9.5, then loading th fix stage by stage.

Hmm i've found a weather type i am not too fond off. Was wondering if it is showing up as intended. Basically my biggest issue is how purple the clouds are, and it becomes a bit dumb looking with the grey fog on ground, would be better if the clouds were grey to match the fog. I checked the weather in cs and well the textures are nice and grey and should go well with fog. The weather is EWFog2. Here is a screenshot http://img815.imageshack.us/i/oblivion201007071531107.jpg/ . So yeah if it is working as intended is it safe to just delete it from the weather list in cs or are there scripts looking for specific weather? Or do they just pick weathers at random from the list. I just don't get why it turns out so purple, the colour choice is in weather is pretty much a grey blue, so i don't see why its getting the purple tint.

Yes, that does look a bit odd. Perhaps the purple is done by the weather colours. I shall fix that.

The options to use Enhanced ,Atmospheric, and Natural Weather are in the ini.
