Because Bash only redates your plugins after they've been altered by something else (in this case, BOSS) if you've got Lock Times active.

This time I run BOSS with the "Lock Times" feature disable, but BOSS not only redates mods it also redate some mods to year 2020 with different time to each other.

Why is that BOSS suggest the phinix waterfix.esp that shouldn't be merged, but Wrye Bash advice you to do otherwise with that mod.

Discrepancies like that should be reported in the BOSS thread so they can be sorted out. It's possible advances in Wrye Bash have made it possible to merge something that was originally tagged not to be.

I just installed AN today and learned quite a bit about Wrye Bash in the process. However, I think I've missed something because AN doesn't work quite right. It seems to have affected the weather nicely and the churches/temples have transparent windows, but all the interiors of all the city buildings I've checked are always dark as though it's night. This is the case in all the cities.

As far as I can tell, imported the correct things into my bashed patch, activated the necessary things and got the load order correct. I used the OBMM installation instructions if that makes any difference and I used BOSS to sort the load order, putting the OCR files with the OC ones it recognized. Here's my mod list:

I'm quite sure that you must have the Kvatch Rebuilt.esp before the Kvatch Rebuilt Weather Patch.esp in your LO, because the weather patch shouldn't occupied a esm/esp slot and is fully mergeable into Bashed Patch.esp which is shown two plus signs (green) in the loadorder. To change your LO in Wry Bash just use the Ctrl+Arrows (up/down) to move it.

I put the Kvatch Rebuilt weather patch in the correct place. That was a silly oversight on my part. I doubled checked the rest. The filter .esp is just before the bashed patch, even though it isn't activated. Its cells are imported into the bashed patch, along with the other two. The only thing that appears not to be working is the light indoors. I can even heard the weather indoors. Occasionally the windows seem to change colour between black and light grey/blue, but that's the only change.

Leonardo2's comment about merging the Kvatch weather patch confuses me, since the only patch that seems to be mergeable is the Kvatch Rebuilt OOO compatibility. After hours of fiddling with this and pouring over docs, I think it's time for sleep. I'm quite stumped at the moment. I'm starting to think any error I've made here is going to come out of left field.

Have you got Import Cells from your All Natural.esp, and do you have the plugin active?

The KR patch is not mergeable. I think an older version was, but it's not any more.

Yes, I did those things. :)

My previous comment about the answer coming from left field proved to be true. The problem was the bsa was not where it should have been. I have no idea how that happened, considering I packaged the archive into an omod and installed it that way, but when I tried manually extracting the files the bsa didn't ask for an overwrite, so it wasn't there in the first place. Almost tempted to redo the whole thing just to see if the omod install works the way it should.

And the results of all this are simply breathtaking! This has to be one one of the coolest visual mods I've seen yet! :D

Using just all natural - real lights. I the Castle Anvil Barracks there is a floating light fixture. When I disable the mod its not even in the room. So probably a bug with real lights maybe. I looked around in other parts of the game and found no other problems.

Hmm... directional lightning values are greyed out when the "behave like exterior'" flag is checked.
I guess I could uncheck the flag, modify the values, and then reactivate it.

It would be great if someone could check the sunrise/sunset in Jerall View Inn. If I'm the only one encountering this issue, there's no need to post any further in the AN thread. ^^

Edit: After some time passed in the CS, I'm beginning to think that the north marker is totally unrelated to sun's orientation.
It's just something that allow you to create an interior without having to care about the orientation of the cell in regard to the orientation of the exterior door.
This would mean that in order to correct this small issue, the orientation of all objects in concerned interior cells would need to be modified...
Unless I missed an option in the CS, it seems a lot of work for something like this. And it would also greatly impact the compatibility of AN with other mods adding something in any interior cell.


That was enlightening. I was wondering about it today when I noticed the sun rises behind the altar in all the temples, regardless of their orientation. I think the only temple with correct-looking sunlight is in Skingrad.

Well that's because Skingrad is the only chapel where the altar is at the east end of the building. Seems like a pretty dumb little engine bug we've stumbled on here. Although calling it that may not be meaningful since they may not have designed for it. After all, we're changing how common interior cells are being handled.

Thanks Arthmoor and AN team for the new update.
It is important to do a clean save before upadating and the steps

1. Open the console and type in "fw 38EEE 1" (without quotes). This will change the weather to “Clear”.
2. Immediately save in a new slot, and exit the game.
3. Uninstall the other weather mod/old version.
4. Load, then save in a second new slot.
5. Install All Natural using the directions above.
6. Load, then save in a third new slot.

solve a lot of problems of scripts not working even if installing for the first time over vanilla weather.
Recently I started a new game and installed AN without the preceeding steps and I got some weather transitions oddities on gates and others related to opening and closing inventory. I reinstalled for the second time AN using the instructions above and all my transitions problems disapeared.

i was installing this mod and it asked if i wanted the "indoor weather filter for mods patch" for it if i use a batch patch... i do.... so i rebuilt my patch and selected the All Natural patch in the import cells section and rebuilt.... the lil box in the mod list window for the indoor weather filter is still red with a dot in it now... something tells me thats not right... so how do i fix it?

It does that because not all of its masters are present. But that is perfectly fine with a filter mod. The filter means it works for however many of those mods you have, as opposed to requiring them all. It's actually a brilliant feature of Wrye Bash in my humble opinion. :celebration:

Also I must mention that this issue began after I've uninstall the Streamline 3.1, because I've experienced a lot of CTD's when I was in Feldscar (another great mod) so I suspect that streamline mod may have caused the craches but that is another story.

Maybe I was doing something wrong, but when I launch the TES4LODGen before I rebuild the bashed patch it stops saying that streamline 3.1 was missing.

It looks like the sky is also purple, and water just reflects the sky, so it looks like you've not got the BSA in the right place, or you've not got All Natural.esp active, hence the missing texture.

You're correct the sky is indeed purple coloured. Thank you very much wrinklyninja. :bowdown:


I think I would skip the BAIN installation package and rely on the omod method instead.
