Weather issues

Post » Mon May 10, 2010 11:28 pm

I'm suddenly seeing some extremely unstable weather conditions. The weather will instantly change on me at random events like if I change clothes, walk through a bush or even while I'm talking to someone, where the game should really be paused. It seems to cycle mostly between snow and sunshine with some fog in between.

Does anyone know what this could be caused by?

Are you using mods? That sounds like the bug found in the old Natural Weather plugin. If you do use that part of Natural Environments, grab the fixed version or switch to a different weather mod: http://tesivpositive.animolious.com/?page=stabilization_and_optimization_mods#ModFixes

I am using the weather mod, but it has never given me trouble before. I'll try the fix.

Thanks!

Just because you can't see the bug doesn't mean its there. In this case, anyway, the bug is well documented. Next time you have a problem, try to determine whether or not it is related to the mods you are using first, and then post in the relevant forum. Enhanced Weather happens to be pretty well known, but for other mods you are more likely to find answers by asking in the Mod forum. If you can, post in the problem mod's thread. You are likely to get answers more quickly and accurately that way.

Happy gaming!
