Wedding plans and Skyrim Release

Am I a bad person for proposing to my GF early so that the wedding won't interfere with the Skyrim release?

For real?

If so, Skyrim > Torture Marriage. By all means :)

Not if you are wanting to plan a TES based wedding. ;)

Or you could have proposed whenever and had the wedding planned to where it wouldn't interfere anyways :whistling:

Either way, if she said yes (which I'm assuming she did from this post) Congrats! :foodndrink:

Skyrim is just more important to you than your wedding.

Normally I would try to approach this as a rational, everyday human being. But having just looked at fullscreen, high resolution screenshots of what Skyrim will look like...

Hell no.

Well... in all honesty, that's for her to judge. And trust me - she will. So all you can do is hope that she decides in your favor.

Haha, that's awesome. Congrats! My fiance and I will be married in a couple of months and it's already been decided that Skyrim will be her early christmas present to me. :)

Yeah, I gotta say that's a great idea! Make it official! As long as she doesn't realize your first year of marriage will be spent playing Skyrim!

No we aren't all advlts. We have folks of all ages over 13. You have to remember that the first Elder Scrolls game came out in 1994 which would be about a year before you were born and many have played Elder Scrolls ever since. Some of them being 13 then and some being a bit older. I started with Morrowind and then gradually got the other games and played them. But even Morrowind came out in 2002 and if you take a look at the "Morrowind Mods" section you will see more than you would expect still modding it and many of us still play it on occasion. Morrowind was released when you were only about 6 or 7 I imagine.

But never fear, we love having new folks join us in having fun. For some reason many of the younger folks here are pretty mature for their age anyway.

Myself, I've been married so long that if my anniversary was on that day I assure you that my hubby and It would be him upstairs playing Skyrim on Xbox 360 and me downstairs playing Skyrim. We would pass going to the bathroom or going to the freezer for a microwave meal which I could eat at my desk and he could eat from the coffee table. It would be a perfect anniversary celebration.
