"We could only suggest magic as a possible explanation and so, at a Bethesda showcase in Utah earlier this month ..."
I would suggest magic as a possible explanation, why they say "earlier this month" when it's May 1st. :teehee:

"... the possibility of Splash Damage getting involved in two other franchises close to the studio; Doom and Quake"
Wow, wow, wow ... what!?

"Setting aside a little bit of anti-aliasing, we've done it. But I think everyone knew it was going to be impossible to get exactly the same amount of aliasing on the three things."
Yeah, as a matter of fact the PC could handle a lot more than only some AA. <_<

"I think once we're past that we'll start talking about what's going to happen beyond Brink 1 if there's anything for us to say."
Okay, he clearly says BRINK 1 there, which makes me think there is a BRINK 2 in his head already.

"... for every game we've ever released we've released the SDK, the level design tools the source code, sometimes the entire media packs of the Photoshop files that we use as the bases of our textures so that people can make and modify their own textures."
I can hear you very well. Go ahead, please?

"Yet every conference I've been to I've said the same thing"
You know, the Ark is this artificial floating city!

"I just want a really good massively multiplayer shooter, thanks. I'm desperate for it. Why isn't there? I just can't stand the fact that there isn't one yet."
Well, there actually is one, which is MAG. And Battlefield grows quite large, too. But it's hard to pull of a very well done MMOFPS, hence why there are almost none.

"But in the end we kind of ended up with something like that. In Contained City if you get everything right and you get all your ducks in a row then at the end you can grab your data sample and escape with it and I love that feeling of a plan coming together."
That's not as innovative as it sounds, though.
If you get all your ducks in a row on Dust 2, you'd blow up the bomb.

This one was new to me, and very good.

Paul Wedgwood:
"...we really are just looking forward to getting that shipped and playing with everyone online."
"...we absolutely love the game to bits, no doubt, no doubt at all."

The odds are pretty low that we will be online versus Brink devs, but for those in England this appears to be a distinct possibility.

I hope they have a play the devs night.

Also the bots are named after devs
