I'm having a really weird problem.. Whenever I play the game some ambient sounds come up, sounds that shouldn't be in the game. The sounds are obviously commercials about random products.
The sounds will still be there even if I turn down the master volume, but they will end if I turn off my internet connection.

It's really weird, like something has corrupted the game making it stream random commercials from the internet. I checked it, and the sounds only appear when I play Fallout New Vegas and will end the second I quit the game or turn off my internet connection.

Anyone having the same problem? I tried looking around on the internet but with no luck.

Problem solved, did some investigating and ended up with the conclusion that I've must have visited a website with a video playing while I've been reading up on a quest in New Vegas via the steam browser..
