Becomes something like http://img607.imageshack.us/img607/751/wrongu.jpg. I've edited this one myself, since I can't get a screenshot of what it really looks like in my Skyrim. Thing is, the background doesn't brighten but the Imperial logo does and in-game everything looks much brighter. It's hard to explain and the edited pic doesn't give the right image but I hope you get what I mean.
The change happens about 1.5 seconds after the menu loads up so it can't be a hardware problem. (That's why I post it here).
