I recently got daggerfall, it was great fun. Came across a few bugs so I thought I would get the latest patch before I got too into it, and thought I may as well start a new game, fresh after the patch. But atm, whenever I try to save dosbox gets error 1000 : failed to write to drive (I'm assuming thats the save file) I've tried running dosbox as administrator incase it isn't getting the rights to make the save file (although it was fine before).

Any idea on how I can fix it? This is only since the latest "supposed" bug fixing patch, but it seems to have only caused more problems.

Edit : Found out about this FIXSAVE.exe thing that came with patch 1.6+, so just restored my old save (which saves fine) and used the fix save on it.
