Weird Error Messages...Noob needs help

Post » Sat Aug 20, 2011 12:04 am

I just got Morrowind with Tribunal and Bloodmoon. I have some mods it came with, and when go to run the game (everything installed successfully) I get the error messages:

Chunk size 10 too big in Chucnk WEAT_ID in form Regn_ID. Mat size is 8, Data truncated to "".
Followe by: Fclasaad caas region weather chances do not total 100%
Then the first message, and the second with different area names (ones about a mountain range, stuff like that) followed always by the first message (though the last one ends with ...truncated to "#" instead of an empty space.

What's going on? I need some help :brokencomputer:

You installed the expansions in the wrong order.
You must install Morrowind->Tribunal->Bloodmoon

No need to uninstall anything. Just re-install Bloodmoon and it should be fixed.

edit: Also, no mods come with the game. Not even the Official Plug-ins come with any version of the game.
Sounds rather odd.... hmmm

Well the Mods didn't come with it, I downloaded them separate..but I didn't add them to the data files, so they shouldn't have any influence yet, right? I'll try the reinstallment.

EDIT: Alright new problem...when the game starts to load it error loading snowflake mesh...but my mesh folder in the data files is empty..? Can I go somewhere and just delete this snowflake monstrocity..they're really not that imporrtant to me.

Snowflake error is caused by Vista/7 operating system when the game is installed in Program Files. Just reinstall it somewhere else, or even just cut-paste the whole game folder.
