it happens on start as well in submarine its all black and i can see through walls but its all black too

My specs

Intel corei7 920 2.8Ghz quad core
3GB ram
Radeon HD4870 1GB running at 1980x1024 widescreen res with vsync off in fullscreen
Windows 7 64bit

running the latest Catalyst drivers as of today , tried previous drivers too same problem, any suggestions here please?

my game also always crashes when i exit the game
the submarine at start is always white too , i have tried changing resolution which also doesnt help
