Weird graphics problem

Post » Sun Jul 07, 2013 1:58 am

The only way I can describe it is as a sort of blur or flicker of colours. It is especially noticeable when outside and in the daytime. If I stand facing a tree and slowly move the mouse left or right to look in those directions, for the duration that the mouse is being moved the colours become a bit lighter. The moment the mouse stops moving, the colours settle back to their darker, normal type. It's annoying and it hurts my eyes. I've been playing around with the graphics settings, turning things up and down, on and off but nothing seems to stop it. I don't have any mods installed btw, it's a completely fresh new install.

I presume you have all patches installed officially and unofficially.

...and your comp specs are...?????

would be nice if you put a picture on a free image hosting site, perhaps ????

I have all the official patches, I don't have any of the unofficial bug fix patches though. Might one of those help?

My computer specs are fine, it's nothing to do with those. It's an expensive gaming PC. I've played Skyrim for 150 hours and have always had the problem, it just seems to be bugging me now more than ever. Maybe because I've taken a liking to playing in the dark hours of the game whereas before I'd sleep at night and play through the day for role-playing purposes, and the problem is more noticeable at night.
