I'm having a problem were I'm getting these strange lines going up and down the screen, I only get them when I'm looking at the grass outside. I can go into towns and I'm fine, I can look at the mountains and I'm fine, just the grass.

My computer specs are:
i7 2600k @ 4.4GHz
Two gtx 580's
8 GB of ram

My computer can run Skyrim fine, I'm also using the HD texture pack. "I still get the lines when I'm not using the texture pack"

Any help would be great.

I too also have the texture pack and Skyrim for me is horrible.When ever I go Anywhere my shadows are buggy and i too some times get lines.Its defiantly the patch if you have updated to the 1.5 patch. My comp was built for games so yeah it could be the patch.

I was having trouble with painting issues too, but it happened immediately after I updated my monitor driver. After rolling it back I no longer had the issue. I'm not saying it's the same problem, but have you tried rolling back your monitor driver and playing or updating your driver?

I've updated my drivers and I've used older ones, I'm still having the problem.

That's unfortunate. Sounds like a different issue. I used the Steam "update drivers" and that's when it hit my machine. I was seeing gray squares over stuff. Good luck with your issue.
