Weird peformance

So I’m trying to find proper settings for Fallout 4 to run smooth on my PC. I’ve got laptop Lenovo ideapad Y580

Intel Core i7-3610QM (2.3Ghz/3.3Ghz) (http://goo.gl/JqP3E7)Nvidia Optimus: - Intel HD 4000 (http://goo.gl/swtRgP) - Nvidia GeForce 660m (http://goo.gl/4H21OM)8Gb DDR3-1600 / PC3-12800 (2х HMT351S6CFR8C-PB)Windows 7 x64 / Windows 10 x64Intel driver - 10.18.10.4276Nvidia driver - 358.91

So I took one really low fps scene and tested it on different settings. https://pp.vk.me/c629521/v629521184/29782/OxwYe3x0wNA.jpg

Low preset + TAA + 1080p + AF 16 = 21FPS

Ultra preset + TAA + 1080p + AF 16 = 9-10 FPS

I don't understand how this could be? Of course I have not the most powerful laptop, but in games like Batman AK, Dying Light etc. I get an acceptable level of FPS by lowering graphics. And here the lower graphics brings the picture to a disgusting state, and still i don't get 30 fps.

Overclocking gpu will give me some boost, but not dramatic.

What's so special about this scene? Some crappy looking building brings down fps...

The specs for this game are indicative of the level of workload your machine will be under while playing. Expect minimum to run it, just about. I think you're their seeing as how you don't have a dedicated GPU.

You can't compare this game to that, because those games wish they had a world as detailed as this one.
