Weird screen Glitch

Hey, I'm getting a graphics glitch that I have no idea what to do with. I have gotten them before with other mod sets and other load orders, so I'm not sure if it's a mod problem (there are some mods I always use), or if, (and I hope it's not) it's a hardware problem. This problem is currently most easily notable for me right at the start of the game in the initial jail cell. After I build a character and go through my first few mod screens (for key mapping and such), I start moving around the cell and everything seems fine, no lag, no tears, no problems. Then I'll look over at the table with the bowl and pitcher on it and my screen will turn turquoise. Object names still show up on my screen when the cursor passes over them and when I turn away from the table the game goes back to normal (but returns when I turn back to the table). This also happens in other areas, usually when crouching and/or looking at interior wall/other textures. This does not happen in third person mode, and I have a very high end computer so I should be seeing no performance issues. My specs and load order are posted below. If you have any idea what this might be, please help.

PS. As I am running Vista, I do have Oblivion installed in its own folder on the C-drive, and not under Program Files.

The infamous nVidia fog bug. That's a bug in the game engine, not mod related. Nexus has mods that fix it, and it's also included in Wrye Bash, you can apply the fix when building the bashed patch (Tweak Assorted; Nvidia Fog Fix). Removes it completely from my game.

I tried that and it seemed to work for a second, and then it turned right back up again, I even downloaded a specific fix from planet elder scrolls and activated that and it still doesn't work, is one of the mods I'm using counteracting it?

Also, are there any known video settings that might cause this problem, or solve it?

I think I've got it now, I turned oblivion over to bloom lighting and this seems to have fixed it, although just turning off hdr doesn't do it, it has to be bloom.

I do not think you need the nVidia fixes and Bloom. If you want to try the other nVidia fixes I linked, turn HDR back on, and try adding them.

Thanks but I already had those installed, and I was still getting the black screen w/o being crouched and with interior shadows turned off.

In the future, post your load order with Wrye Bash. That list does not show version numbers or what you have pseud-activated (merged or imported.) You have a few installation errors, some of which I cannot fully diagnose without the WB load order...

Thanks for your pointers, that's really very helpful actually. As for versions, everything has been downloaded within the last week and is the newest possible available version. Thanks for your help.
