Weird screen tearingartifacting when I cookcraftetc : Fallout 4

When I"m on cooking/crafting screens, my screen looks like this:

It's all green with weird squares everywhere... apparently I'm not allowed to post a link for some reason, so I can't actually show it.

My specs are:

i7 4700hq

GTX 770m

16 GB Ram

I run on medium and get 50-55 fps pretty stably. No other issues besides this one. I don't have any issues in any other games either, so I don't think it's GPU damage.

Any ideas about what it is/what to do about it?

OK, time for a huge surprise:

updating my gpu driver fixed a graphics issue

at least so far, it seems fixed.
