Got to thinking of some things I miss from fallout nv, and hope once the modding kit is released its possible to create

Casinos. - I liked the option of running to vegas to get my character started. Win lots of cash in blackjack, and get some decent armor.

Sierra madre vending machines - I just loved those to death. Needed some odd ammo type? Needed booze or medicine? Put in your caps and you are set. I'd love to see those make a return. With the new survival mode limiting fast travel, having a few vending machines scattered about would be really nice.

I miss the ammo types in general! Although I don't think they qualify as 'weird'.

Good news on that front! A mod is already out that adds ammo types back in. Its a little rough around the edges last I checked. However, once the kit comes out I'd imagine it'd be perfect.
