make me feel like its giving some one with money a chance over others = unfair and cash shop''ish type garbage. unfair, biased. not kool
people with money always have an unfair advantage lol
but seriously i would totally be against it. i feel everything in the CE should be cosmetic only or real world items. i hate the idea of one race only being playable by those who spend more than others
That pic looks like total bs, but just to entertain the thought.
If you have to pay extra to get a special race option that is locked out to everyone else and is the only race that can choose their alliance, they are going to catch major hell for it.
why people keep photo shoping and mess with our heads -cries-
i would hate that i got a worthless race that i would never use in a million years as part of my CE but i guess we have different views on it lol
Well, if it was true, it's definitely not going to true anymore lol. After this mini backlash ^^
Imperial*
I think it will happen, just not for money, probably in an expansion pack OR a monthly update.
yeah, if that was true, they would lose most credibility they had as game devolpers
It wouldn't be P2W unless the race was realllly good. I'm not defending the move, because its something that is going to be a raw deal to someone no matter how you slice it. I don't think they would keep it entirely gated behind the CE, though. Eventually everyone would get it, but not for a while.
to be fair getting a mount and pet is not pay to win.
but those rings and the imperial race are definatley p2w even tho not by alot and dont bring much win, its still p2w.
Unless most people need to buy the mount with in-game currency they earn over time.
Getting a mount at level 1 when most people need to earn money to buy one is indeed P2W.
I wouldn't see the issue as a p2w issue... It would be a paygate to content(a playable race), something they promised many times they weren't doing(paygates).
Assuming it's legit... let's see the passives on the Imperial race before jumping to any conclusions. What if the Imperial, for instance, has NO skill line? Then it's more like P2L (Pay to Lose). Or what if an imperial is simply a skin, and you choose the skill line from another race in your Alliance when you use it? Then it's purely cosmetic.
As for the marriage thing, I am gonna assume that it's possible to marry in the game without those rings; just need a quest or the like for the rings. I can't see them restricting a mechanic like that to people who buy the CE.
Would you guys feel the same if a race were introduced through an expansion?
Nope. That would be a great way to do it, and the way I predicted, since they could add a lore-based reason for Imperial troops defecting.
probably not, the problem is, if it is true, it is a paygate to a race, something they said they would never do AND it is something they were against in the first place (playing as an imperial)
Which makes ME think this is a doctored image. Not saying the whole thing is bogus, but that some of it definitely is. I could see that Imperial thing just being an Imperial soldier costume and they replaced the wording.
they mentioned a while back the marrige rings if used would get more exp if you play with your spouse. (paid advantage u spose to earn the cash for ingame)
its just minor things like this that if put in a cash shop or a CE then it will most certainly grow and lead to more items with that type of advantage.
main idea of the subscription is that all people can get everything equally by playing the game and finding ALL items in a chest of mobb or boss drop
