Well, since you can speak their language. I suppose so.

But what if you were having a conversation with one about fire and one of you burst into flames? That'd be a sad day.

There is concept art of a walrus. I don't know what the devs expect us to do with a walrus...

I am fairly sure somewhere it was mentioned that dragons talk, also it was mentioned you can summon a dragon... else wise not much on that front.

I suppose since it's skyrim there must be those... snow elves around, the Falmer, not sure if they'd rate in as the weirdest tho... probably be trolls, those things are weird....

Why would you kill such a majestic animal?

i think in one of the video podcasts todd is showing some concept art on a wall and there was a picture of a spriggan on there. So potentially that could be a weird creature in skyrim.

Protip: It's not a walrus, it's a Horker.

Awesome. I'd say this Horker is the Elder Scrolls equivalent to a walrus though. It's still weird...

I heard that there was to be a creature called a Were-Yeti. Sounds cool. Perhaps a new breed of simian-like werebeast? I hope not. I draw the line at Wereshark and humanoids are ape-like enough no?

"I am the Horker, goo goo, g'joob."

Too easy?

Weirdest? Hmm, don't know about weirdest but I sure hope to stumble across Lamae Beolfag.

Remember those Riekling creatures in Bloodmoon? Man those things were annoying, and they could possibly be in Skyrim.

Yeah but by the time I met them I was powerful enough to take them in two hits with my axe and if needed I could throw a "Jump 100 points" and just leave the scene if I didn′t want to bother with them. Bloodmoon was most likely designed for near godlike characters seeing how you could get assaulted by 3 rieklings, 4 smugglers (alwayas in groups those two are =.=) 3 wolves (did I mention pack animals and groups yet ?) and a spriggan or two... or 3 if you were unlucky, oh and guess what, kill a spriggan and it goes up twice again! so let′s make that three spriggans or six... or nine if you were unlucky.

This is an actualy scenario I had just yesterday when playing around trying to get Raven Rock built, let′s count 3+4+3+3x3(9) = 19 creatures at once, I consider myself lucky I didn′t get attacked by a bear too, bears are nice, so considerate leaving you alone

The weirdest creature in Skyrim will probably be variations of fryse hags and berserks, in Morrowind berserks were so called because of them being "bare-serk" or bare of their serk, that is clothing for their torso, so we will probably see half naked men running around holding armor for their torso in their hands but refusing to wear it... just like in Solstheim. I at least remember being all "WTF why not wear your armor if you have it ?" at first until I learned the explination.

They must be snow walruses, which you can get as a flying mount. Imagine soaring into a great aerial battle witha mighty dragon on a walrus.

It's clearly an advanced design of the Horker. Remember the shift in mudcrabs from Morrowind to Oblivion? Creatures change.

Well it looks exactly like a walrus and nothing like a horker, so I doubt it. It even says "Arf!".

I believe TES dragons are smart enough to understand you, but whether or not they want to is another matter.
