John was awarded the SAR's medal of valor three times, and was put in charge of his own squad for the last three years. Recently, after the resurgence of enemy factions, John was promoted to Colonel, and put in charge of the division he had served all his life, he became friendly with most of the Generals, and was usually associated as their equals, as the commander of SAR's only Special Forced division, they always valued his advice. John, after his commission as the leader of the MRD, completely revamped the division's policies. The best soldiers were placed in small 4 man squads, who were sent to destroy high-value targets and were given the higher-risk missions. The bulk of the force was to work with the regular infantry units, so they may improve the effectiveness of all divisions. John's new division also made use of the all advanced technology the SAR acquired, silencers, high-powered scopes, and even stealthboys. Finally, John commissioned a small task force, numbering 10 men, the worked under his command, and fought alongside him.
