Welcome back "Lag" Patch 1.9

If the cooling fans aren't screaming then it's unlikely to be overheating, besides a GPU failure wouldn't look like that so it's not overheating and not the HDD.

More likely a bit of corrupted code within the cell, hopefully not within your savegame.

Is it always there when you go back?

If not then it's a transient bug, not a hard failure but could crop up anytime depending on what the mesh calls for and where it is used when displaying the world.

Why is everyone so quick to blame the PS3 if anything happens in Skyrim? This is normal developer carelessness. That's all. Happens at the beginning of the Dawnguard questline the first few times you go back to the fort. It's "normal". It will go away as you progress the questline. I think when gates are added.

It was probably just a one off bad texture load, happens from time to time, whew.

It probably will be, but only because your next game will be on PS4.

All games will be on PS4 if there is a crossover period getting a game on PS3 if it's available for PS4 will be a waste.

If Grid 2 is half as bad as Grid was then it will be a dogpile, GT5 left me cold and any game that requires you to let it play itself (BSpec) is just lazy.

Don't get me wrong, I enjoy driving games and when it comes to times etc I'm not too shabby.

My first on console was Burnout Paradise and I was featured by Criterion in thier King of the Roads event in 1st place, go me LOL.
Some other driving games I have had a lot of fun playing are :-

Split Second - When is dropping a building on your fellow racers not fun?
Dirt Series including Showdown where I won quite a few Racenet weekly events.
NFS Shift and Shift 2 Unleashed - Had some top times for a while.
NFS Hot Pursuit - I have a few videos of decent event times on my YT channel, not my fastest runs but not too bad.
NFS Most Wanted - I top my speedwall and own all but 3 billboards in the game, still play from time to time but into ME3's multiplayer at the moment as I like the credit reward system. Playing to earn credits you use just like cash at PSN Store to buy upgrade packs is a good idea from Bioware imo.
