He does not LOOK like a slaver. To everyone else, he runs the clothing store. There is no reason to suspect he has some other job in town, some other motive. READ THE [censored] CHARACTER SHEETS. If you are not going to take the time to familiarize yourself with the context, you cannot RP with us.
Infantry, you are being publicly warned. If you are going to destroy my RP you are going to be banned off it so fast no one will remember you were even here.

edit: Drifter (4bucks' char) does not know Jimmy is a slaver...yet. He will observe the slaves coming in to town LATER. He has heard Nick address Jimmy but has no reason to believe Nick isn't [censored] around.
I'm going to second this mate. I went out on a limb and allowed you into this RP, I go to sleep and when I come back there is 3 more pages in the OOC thread, mostly adressing problems you have caused.
Do not let this happen again. Too much work has gone into this RP from all involved, for one person to spoil it. I'll call this strike one.
Damn right you will. If you will not accept PMs then you are stuck with me reprimanding you in an embarrassing fashion (for both of us) in public on our OOC thread. Respect your mods and your other players by reading the past thread(s) and the CS's. In fact, I am very close to telling you to delete all your posts and asking all the players to ignore what you have written/edit their posts accordingly, but that is one gigantic hassle.
I will also second this, I know that there are a lot of posts to catch up with from the first thread, but we've taken the time to write them, same goes for the CSs. I don't think it's too much to ask that you read what we have all written. And to address what Skirt said, it's too much of a pain in the [censored] editing everyones posts, if it keeps happening then your chr will just be removed IC (enslaved by Jimmy, shot by Nick or Katie, battered to death in the street by Harold) and we'll just carry on IC. I'm not trying to be unpleasant here, but as I have said, the rest of us have worked too hard on this.
@skirt Yeah,Drifter doesn't know for sure.He simply heard the allegation,and inquired about it to Johnson(leggio) and Nick(who i don't know yet).
Thanks 4bucks, this is more the approach we need mate. The accusation from Nick isn't enough to set him off, but has made him more wary of Jimmy now.
It won't, but for now i think id be in everyones best interest that I don't post until someone has laid out something I can piggy back off of.
At this point with your chr, you shouldn't need to piggyback. You have only just arrived in town. Instead of punching the first person you see, why not introduce yourself? learn who people are, what they are up to?
That was sort of the plan, though my hope is that some of the other players are able to participate as well. I realize that weekends are typically slow RP days, and on top of that, people have "real lives". It may not take place until Monday, just to allow people a chance to respond. We'll see. I'm hesitant to make a plot decision like that without Kettle.

The meeting will be quite an important part of the RP, so I have no problem with it taking a couple of RL days to complete so that everyone has a chance to interact with everyone else.

Um,Skirt,Any ideas when the new caravan is coming in?Also,would it be okay if i traded some Vegas Baby crop for a few caps?All within reasonable prices and amounts of course.I was thinking of selling 3 plants for 100 caps,and then just use the caps at the diner.I realize we're not supposed to be like,hitting gold mines or anything.Just PM me a reasonable amount I can make from it.
Joe has no conscience at all mate, but so far he isn't having much luck getting away either. With the caravans, either Skirt or I will let you guys know at the start of an IC day that a trader is in town and what they are carrying. We'll leave trade values ect for you guys to figure out.(Obviously if someones buys advanced combat armour mk2 for 20 caps, we'll step in)

How will this "banquet" work? I mean, since 4bucks threw the bone, i dont think Elvis will take it till later.
The "banquet" will take place in the evening of day three. Everyone in town will be invited and encouraged to attend. If they don't attend then they will be asleep or otherwise indisposed so that they can't see the slaves being brought in.

Everyone in town will be invited. Why would you be hiding? You have volentarily walked in to town and been helped by the locals. Hiding seems like an odd reaction to this.
Oh and by the way, the only reason Nick knew is because he saw Jimmy leave Paradise Falls in the first post.
This is fine mate. As it explains "How" Nick knows something.
Infantry, I'll explain this here for you, though everything has been implied since the first post. The whole point is that some people in Grayditch are trying to subvert the town's economy for their own nefarious plans. (Joe is a thief, Jimmy is a slaver, Nick is an assassin) but they are also trying not to get caught, so are being clandestine about it. Publicly Joe is the friendly head of security, Jimmy runs a clothes store and Nick works security.
Opposite them you have the town's "good guys", for example Jesse is an retired regulator, so he won't react well once the truth about the town is exposed. Or Drifter, who is a bit of an old rogue, but a "good guy" at the core. These chrs are still pretty ignorant of what's goin on, Jeese "has a bad feeling" about Joe and Drifter has heard an accusation about Jimmy. Nothing solid though. Just slow down and think a bit mate ok.
Some chrs will "know" things. Eg, Joe usually knows if someone is lying to him, but this is only because he is well versed in deception himself, he is also paranoid about Jesse, so sees threats in any of Jesse's actions.
Harold knows Jimmy is a slaver, because Harold is a slave from paradise falls.
Nick knows Jimmy is a slaver too, because he followed him from Paradise falls to Grayditch.
These things are all fine, because they have (mostly) been subtle in their reactions to this knowledge. There will be conflict, but this isn't a "war role play", not every post needs gunplay and fisticuffs. Ok, rant over guys.
Let's get back to just enjoying the RP now.
