Understandable, and he wouldn't do that either put of respect, he already slightly knows her, and he has enough manners to not do that.

Sounds a bit outlandish to me, and I don't even see the point of having such a high amount, but okay. Whatever floats your boat! :P

 Why is Harlem being controlled and having his hand on his gun? If I wanted his hand on his gun I'd have put his hand on his holster, or the but of his weapon. I don't like the control that's goin on, I haven't controlled others. Harlem had his hands on his belt, not on his holster or either of his revolvers.

I like how Celeste made Brandy a suspect, that's good

Heres a pic to give an idea, but with glasses and the scar on her head

He's not being controlled. Celeste is a [censored] who misread his body language. Obviously it should be more obvious if he WAS resting his hand on his gun, but to Celeste, gun, belt, same thing.

Maybe assist Joe. Or go look at the body. Or you have been working security all night. So you'd have noticed who left during the evening. If I remember rightly Pawnee, Frieda, Celeste and Vee have all left and returned at some point. So Nick can draw his own conclusions as to waht happened. There's loads for you to do mate

This isn't character control mate. It's the characters simply misenterprating Harlen's actions. Celeste doesn't like guns and his hand is on his belt, which is close to his gun.
Joe is reacting more to Celeste than any real threat from Harlen. Don't worry mate, it's all good. Nobody is getting shot or anything :goodjob:

And I have no idea what's happening? I've read the 3rd thread a couple times but either from my illness or tiredness, I can't comprehend it.

@Zerker -- basically, the town dinner was going on. Drinking and dancing. Infantry121 decided to leave our RP and had his character commit suicide outside the diner by blowing his own brains out. Pawnee found the body first, and took the gun. Celeste later also discovered the body and ran into the diner screaming about it. Wolfman's character Harlen, Jesse, Joe, and Celeste are having an argument about it. Celeste has told the people in the diner to turn in, the party is over.

Elvis' character Jimmy had Jimmy's men move the slaves into the Metro, in the meantime. Drifter saw then being led in, but he's the only one who did.

....that's where we're at. A couple new people just joined, f8lcobra's char Brandy passed out in the commotion over the dead body. Starbug's char was standing around drinking. Pawnee and Frieda have already turned in for the night. Does that help? :)

@Alex. There are no slaves in town that can be spoken to right now mate. The only slaves are the ones being transpoted covertly by Jimmy's men. And Wierd kid, who has become quite interesting since he died, but is dead.

As for introductions It's kick out time at the diner. Joe, Celest, Harlon and Jesse will be in there. Pawnee, Frieda and Drifter are all in bed and Brandy is passed out.

A few others are heading home right now though. So say hello to someone. You're looking for Dan correct? Well most people saw him at some point while he was there, so I'd say just say hello to somebody.

Ok we're going to move it forward to morning soon. I think that Joe and Harlon will be able to resolve their differences (for now)

Anyone who doen't have a house please look at the map at the start of the thread. Pick an empty one (The metro and the building beside it belong to Elvis as does house 18? I think that's right, it's on the end of the row opposite.) I'll update the map after you let me know which ones you are picking.

For this feel free to NPC Celeste a little. Ask for a room and some food and she'll provide it for you.

@Alex, My previous comment stands if you like mate, feel free to strike up a conversation with someone. Or get yourself a house and introduce yourself in the morning. Up to you here mate.

Harlen' son

CS

Name: Rusty Valentine(Jake)

Age: 32

six: Male

Basic physical appearance and attributes: Height if 5' 10", weight of 175. Black, slick combed back hair. Strong, thin physique, but plagued by arthritis, the disease passes down in the men of his family. The arthritis is as bad, but his body is more physically fit. Not as strong as his father, but much quicker with his hands and like a cheetah on his feet. The Arthiritis started at a younger age then his father's, Rusty started feeling the nuisance at age 18, some time after his father left him. He gets migraines a few times a year that sometimes last for weeks, and headaches if not hydrated enough. He wears a black leather duster, black dress shirt and black pants. He wears black steel toe boots, and black leather gloves. Wears a http://www.cowboyhatcountry.com/media/1/a20792912550aa0d14e3c0_m.jpg. Black holsters on ribs of chest under duster. Has a bit of a goatee goin on.

Looks just like http://www.onlocationvacations.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/02/JosephGordonLevitt_MG_0030.jpg

Weapons and armor: Reinforced leather armor under clothing, primary is a white suppressed Colt. 45, a .44 scoped magnum as secondary, and a black steel tomahawk on his right leg, hidden by duster.

Personality: Hate and anger fuel him. Very little love exits inside of him, and if it does only a good woman would be able to find it, and rip it out into the open. If a good women were to accomplish this feat, it would be a struggle for him everyday to not only forgive himself, but probably for other to forgive him. He has trust issues, it takes a lot for him to trust. He tries to do good past that anger, this is a daily struggle. He thinks sometimes that his father is possibly the only one that could relive that anger.

Occupation: Bounty Hunter

Faction: Independent, would want to help Greyditch if in a good mood.

Backstory: Born in the ruins of Arlington like his father, raised there. His mother passed away at age 16. His father, Harlen Jake at age 41 of his mother's death, didn't return from a job sometime after his 17th year. He knew his dad was too good at his job to be killed, but sometimes he wonders, questions at whther he's alive or not since he hasn't seen him in 15 years. This angered Rusty. Got many of his jobs from the Pitt. He never liked the fact he had two first names as a child. So when he followed in his father's footsteps he changed his surname to Valentine. He would become a quiet bounty hunter, many of his kills would lead to whodunit situations. He comes to Greyditch for RnR, possibly find a good woman and settle down. Find a good woman that he can settle down with, and who can also kick the anger and hate right out his ass.

I like it. I wonder if you have a particular character in mind with the "good woman" bit, hehe. I provisionally accept, but as always, Kettle must also approve. What would his occupation be while in town? Or is he using Grayditch as his vacation villa (ha, ha)?

He will still have a couple more jobs probly, and im thinking maybe Celeste as the good woman. As for job in town, probly butcher, maybe, I don't know yet, any thoughts for a guy that can kill a man with a tomahawk from several feet away?

Now ain't that sweet. ;)

I'm not sure why I asked, it doesn't really matter whether he contributes or not. Just look at Pawnee. He can wash dishes at the diner if he needs the caps, haha.

I think it would be more appropriate if each person in the settlement has a use, and contributes to the society. Otherwise it would be more of a hobo-hangout than a settlement. You can't just give a house to useless people. Offer them one in exchange for their services..

That's what I think, atleast.

This would be my take on it too. Even though Pawnee doesn't have a "job", he is a scavenger and will be able to pay his way.
