Welcome to Grayditch! OOC

Edit:I'm sorry for being a burdon on you honest people, and if ive disrupted anything, I apoligize.

No need to be sorry about anything. I'm sure if you flesh out your character a bit more, and fit them into the concept of the RP, Skirt will be more than happy to accept you. She just wants to make sure everyone sticks to the theme that's been set, and that your character has enough depth to really develop and hold your own interest as the RP goes on.

Feel free to resubmit.

@ Alex, I think the issue is we're all supposed to be small fry. None of us except the GMs deal with Moriarty, can write what Moriarty does, take major actions that effect the whole town, etc.

Your character's too big and overpowered for the purposes of this RP.

EDIT: Zerker already runs his own band of mercs. Having two in a town with twenty people is a little. . . :pinch:

@Alex -- I like it so far! Only problem is, so far IC, only one caravan has met an untimely fate...not quite enough to rouse suspicion. But, if you can think of a way to have made trader Dan that important, I'd probably accept it ;)

Skirt, Kettle and I have agreed. Harlen Jake is in town on a bounty. He is a Bounty Hunter so it only makes since. Do w have any volunteers.

Yes, gotta have the whole back story and everything. Who's got the mark on you? Why? What'd you do to tick them off so bad? Dead or Alive?

It's gotta be like how someone would put it on a bounty flyer pretty much, RDR style possibly.

Note: I am going to be offline for the rest of the night.

WolfMan: You were hired by a warlord named “Cree” [hint, hint] to capture or kill a man named “Pawnee.” The bounty on Pawnee is 10,000 caps. You were not provided with a motive for killing/capturing him.

If you capture Pawnee alive you are to take him down to Norfolk Virginia. . .

We’ll need to set a few ground rules. . .later. . .but I hope we can “settle” this without actually shooting at one another. . .and although Harlan doesn’t know it Pawnee has more than 10,000 in his possession (the gold coins). . .so who knows how this could turn out [wink, wink]

Skirt and Kettle, I just want to throw out there that both of you guys are doing a good job with this RP. You're being just the right amount of strict which is doing it wonders. Keep it up, and don't succumb to peer pressure! :D

Yes Kettle, Assassin and I are going to start a friendship between the two. Harlen is going to mentor him a bit. And I'm thinking about adding another character down the line.

I suppose I'm interested to see what you mean by that, haha...Jesse is a retired ex-Regulator who also looks like Jeff Bridges

The way your character describes his surroundings makes me think HE thinks he's in Little Lamplight. ;)

Well, he is the oldest as far as he knows,

The second character I have in mind would be his child.

@ Wolfman: How do you know what Pawnee looks like? You seem to have already ID'd him. There are no photos of him.

No, I'm guessing tho that his brother would have told him what he looks like, and that fact he probly looks likes his brother helps too. Probly also tell him what he's like too.

Cree is seven years older than Pawnee. You were told to look for a dark haired boy with a dog and with scars on his arms named Pawnee. There is no way you could have picked me out of a crowd that quickly. You need to ask around (like your doing with Jessee)

EDIT: Its also unlikely that Cree (a warlord) would have bothered to meet you in person to assign you a bounty. It would have been through an intermediary.

Pawnee sounds like a nickname or alias to me. Is that his real name Surfer? If not, is Harlen looking for Pawnee by that name or is he looking for "Jimmy-Jack Jacobs" (Probably not Pawnee's real name, but you get what I'm saying)?

Stop glaring at me Kettle (kidding)

No, Pawnee is his real name. He and his brothers were named after old Indian tribes - Cree, Lakota, Pawnee :)
