Okay, here's my idea of how the ranching scene would play out:

Duncan asks Jesse, Harlen and Rusty to help herd brahmin later that day, which they accept (I say later because Rusty would need time to recover and shower and what not). Then they go out into the wasteland, and finally find a half dozen. Duncan leads the herd while Rusty, Harlen, and Jesse stay on the other cardinal positions. Somewhere in the middle theres a raider attack where they all kick-ass. Then they come back safe and sound to grayditch.

How do you all like it?

I'm excited about that. I might have Rusty try and shoot Harlen maybe once or twice.

I volun-told you to do it because I figured you'd NPC the Raiders, and we all know I am abso-fricken'-lutely [censored] at writing fights and battles. S'why I only have one character who can use a gun.

I can spec them out, if you want, but I don't think you'd want me to play the actual fight

It's ok Skirt, I jest mate. No worries, I'll stick a short CS for the leader up in the morning. :biggrin:

I don't think that would be necessary though. It's not going to be a highlight or anything, just a quick skirmish like the Ghouls. Over within one post from each participant really..

I can write the combat scene if y'all wish. I don't know if it's a agrees that I can write them well, but ive written a few while I've been here. I'm not sure if they were thought to be any good or not, but Weston Saga was a success.

Ok then mate. You work out with Wolfman, Billybob and Lewis what you guys want the raiders to be armed with and deal with it like we did with the ghouls mate. I'll leave you guys to RP all the action etc. :thumbsup:

Don't be surprised if Rusty's anger makes him sound a tad like Les Grossman from Tropic Thunder.

Yes! He might yell at the raiders/Harlen like they are terrorists in Les's case.

I really need to remember the commands for bold and italic so I can post from my phone at work, I come up with good ideas, but the choas when I get home cause me to forget :facepalm:

@Cobra -- your post is fine!! As long as you respond the way your character would based on her maturity, experience, intelligence, etc. -- which you have -- then have more confidence in yourself

Poor Brandy. I hope Frieda hasn't scared her too much. Edit -- or do I...:angel:

@Surfer- Is it a prob if either Rusty, or Harlen has heard of/seen Scythe before? Only one, both, or none, your choice. I think it'd make things more interesting. And Harlen's strength could probably go toe to toe with Scythe.

They’ve never seen each other but maybe Harlan heard Scythe’s name once before or the name ‘Sandmen’ .

Sorry I haven't been on lately guys...I got wrapped up with an ex and I installed a new blu-ray drive in my computer that caused it to freak out and spit at me.

Alrighty Surfer, I hope your friends don't decide to snipe Harlen as he's keeping on eye on you. If Harlen and Scythe end up fighting I'd hope it would end up like Yoda taking on Duuku/Palpatine. Both live, they both get away. Idk how It'll though, I can see Harlen wanting to save Pawnee from any wrongdoing.

I was thinking, maybe James could check out the place and there be a molerat or something. Something anybody else wouldn't think much of, but to Brandy it would be monumental. Like they would give her an assault rifle???

I figured she could be in the house all alone so no one got hurt lol oh, and since she is now on her own, it would help to start developing a new skill set and confidence so she can survive.

James clears out the house , finding only a radroach or two but once he leaves brandy opens a cupboard/Cabinet and a molerat jumps out..

EDIT: James would give Brandy a 10mm pistol and later on "try" to teach her how to fire it

EDIT two : James is at megaton now , so if you post now have Brandy accepting the offer and have her read of "gun and bullets" james found or somthing like that until he returns from megaton

EDIT three : James will be returning around sunset...
