If I get the pictures I could make that. Skirt could link it in the OP of each thread.

Woo. Here's my guys to start it off.

Maybe we could either post a consolidated list of brief physical descriptions of each character, one or two lines each... Summarized and gathered together so it'd be easier to remember.

Or, if everyone can get together approximate pictures of how their characters look, we could make one big jpg of everyone with the mugshots and names.

I haven't got an image of either of my characters (though I think I unconsciously modeled Frieda after Samus Aran...), and can't draw for crap, but I do have everyone's characters sheets saved in one file, I can post a consolidated list of physical characteristics and clothes. I'll get on that in a second ;)

This link should take you to Skirt with a weapon's map of Grayditch. Just stick a post up here and let everyone know where your house/business is.

House 8 and place of business is obviously the security shack or a high perch somewhere right outside the Greyditch boundaries.

Could my men and I occupy houses 17 and 18? Or perhaps use 17 as the store I'm supposed to be working in and find a house for my men somewhere else, although it would be convenient if there was three houses by the metro.

17 and 18 are meant to be another row of houses, I just got tired/lazy of divvying up the rectangles, but if we say that in row 17 there are 4 houses and the rest are rubble, you could have those. Turn one into a shop and live in the rest.

Later I will update the map with who is living where. If anyone has any ideas for section 20 or ? then let us know. We're up for some creative fun.

Is it to late to join?

I've been meaning to get back into my old RP but it seems i'd never catch up with a new charcter and saw this one and was mighty interested.

Name: Duncan Talson

Age: 38

six: Male

Basic physical appearance and attributes: He stands at about 5 foot 7 with a completely shaved head, his skin is quite tan, He has deep brown eyes, his nose is crooked due to the amount of bar fights he’s been in and he’s missing a few teeth. He’s muscled but not overly so, his hands are extremely calloused due to his hard working life since he was knee high to a Brahmin.

Weapons and armour: A .357 magnum which is placed in his holster on his right thigh and wears basic leather armour

Personality: He’s not quick to trust but when he does he will lay down his life if the situation arises. He’s generally reserved around people unless it comes to agriculture in which he is a completely different person. He finds it easy to adapt to different situations mentally. He tends to despise himself which probably contributes to his love of whiskey and drinking it whenever he gets the itch.

Occupation: Ex farmer and Caravan guard/driver

Faction: Grayditch

Backstory: Duncan was born into a farming community one of the first and probably only ones in the capital wasteland. He learned from a young age how to cultivate soil, slaughter Brahmin, use what was available to fix things that had broken, etc. It was simple and rough but he enjoyed it.

One day when he was 17, he was out on one of the lower paddocks herding some Brahmin and saw a group of roughly 15 men attack the homestead. He watched in horror as one by one his family was dragged out and executed he wanted to yell and kill them, but he was also petrified so he fled and left his old life behind him. For a few months he wandered not knowing what to do with his life many times he came close to ending it all but always had a change of heart. One day he came upon a caravan taking a quick break and asked if he could tag along. They agreed and took him to Canterbury commons it was on this trip he developed his love for whiskey when one of the guards heard him wallowing in self pity about how he could have saved them all he tossed him bottle of the amber fluid and Duncan found his medicine that eased the pain.

When arriving in Canterbury Commons he was quick to go to the caravan office and sign on as a guard after a few years he had saved enough caps to buy his own Brahmin and trailer after a couple more he had enough to finally start doing business. He although not ecstatic about his new life he was content, however the way of farming always called to him. For 15 years he worked his trade routes before hearing about the new town of Grayditch so one day he packed up his Brahmin and left without a word for the town in hopes that they would take him on for one job or another.

@ Elvis: According to the map, there is more than one house 18, and the 18 on the left looks like its about 4 houses. We can be neighbors :hehe:

@Billybob -- Kettle messaged me, you're accepted! Welcome!

@ everyone -- I know, the map is brutal...I can't draw, to begin with, and then was using a mouse and an MS Paint clone for Mac and blah blah blah excuses excuses excuses.

I think that the map will become far less confusing once the houses have been picked and it has been re-labelled.

Also, if you all haven't noticed, we're winding down this first day, and will begin the next...either later tonight or tomorrow morning, so you may (or may not, whatever) want to treat your characters accordingly :)

I'll just take whichever house is left when everyone else is done with it. Oh and, whoever hasn't put up a picture of what their characters look like yet, do so now. I've already started the group-photo. Although I'm still having trouble finding a photo of what I imagined Jesse to look like..

I know it's the obvious choice for an ageing lawman, but I can't think of anyone better.

EDIT: @Surfer, don't worry about being lazy mate. Joe is based on the guy in my picture too
