Welcome to the End of the World!

Greetings Travellers, and welcome to the End of the World!

Pull up a chair, have a cup of suds, and tell us of your journeys!

(Right, the premise of this thread is to have a place to come and share anything and everything about your latest journeys in Morrowind. So post your current characters, your latest epic quests, or maybe form an idea of an RP for a new playthrough! Whatever works! This is intended to be a place for the regulars of the Morrowind GD to come and casually chat about their going ons in Morrowind as of now.

I recently got addicted to Morrowind again, hard. And I got the idea for this thread based off of the Lurkers Lair in the Community Discussion. Hopefully this catches on, because I think this could be a cool way to add new life to the discussion of Morrowind! If not, oh well. Just a couple of wasted KBs and personal Nostalgia.) :P

Personally, I just am trying to figure out what kind of character I'm going to play next. I was thinking something along the lines of a Ranger... but meh. Thats just too cliched. So now I'm brainstorming, trying to come up with some sort of character to RP. This time 'round, I wanna do things right with Morrowind.

Cheers!! :foodndrink:

OH and as promised. http://blog.timesunion.com/saratogaseen/files/2008/04/beer.jpg

I've taken a break from MW for a few months, but I'm going to start playing again right after my current NVN playthrough.

I'm planning on using a wizard type, ditching Caius' package in the swamps and heading off to join the Telvanni. My main motivation as a player is to nose around the Tamriel Rebuilt betas, both of which are basically Telvanni landmasses (more or less). I'll probably use an Altmer, Dunmer or Breton as race. I like to use the stock Classes (or slightly tweak them) most of the time, I've narrowed my Class choice down to either Sorcerer, Nightblade or Healer. They're all finesse classes, can be tricky to use but very powerful used right, and I like a challenge. Leaning towards Healer right now just because it's unusual. I haven't really run one properly before.

Right now I am juggling 2 different characters. A male Nord spearman, and a female Dunmer Nightblade (slightly modified). The Nord (who I call Wulfgardt) has just turned 5 and is about to head off to Fort Darius for basic training, after having done some work for the fighters guild. The Dunmer (Aurora Nevarym) is 4 and currently getting New Shoes out of the mess he has gotten himself into in Pelagiad (she thinks Bosmer are troublesome). After she is done with whatever Sugar lips wants done, she will be traveling to Ald'ruhn to continue her studies in the Mages guild while doing a little thieving on the side.

I'm just curious, do you guys have a "routine" that you always put your new character through? If so, what do you do right off the bat to get your toon acquainted to Vvardenfell?

I realize this may vary for each character type, but post a typical routine anyways.

Really none of my characters ever go to another town or city unitl after I have leveled up to 2 and then its only to Pelagiad to repair weapons and stuff. Then when I hit 3 I go on foot to Balmora, sometimes by the main road past Pelagiad and sometimes the back road past the Odai Plateu. After that I go seperate ways depending on char race or class. Ex: if dunmer I don't like to do the Legion or Imperial cult quests. Just didn't seem right to me.

I've been Deciding if I should take my Female Bosmer and start the Silent Pilgrimage to the Sanctus Shrine. She is a devout member of the Tribunal Temple (Despite being a Bosmer, AND a member of the Thieves guild), having completed all the Seven Graces.
As of now, She's in Mournhold, though I don't even plan to touch the MQ there until I finish Morrowind's one.

Rob the Census and Excise Office, plan Fargoth's assassination, clear and sell as much as possible from Addamasartus. You know, the usual.

I haven't been playing Morrowind for some time now until yesterday (Reinstalled Morrowind). So currently I've been on a mod-installation spree and... well the rest is getting everything to work.

This really should be in the CH&S forum as it is bound to contain spoilers of some kind. However, there has been a similar topic running for a long time in the other forum so it is best to continue this in there.
