Ok, so I was rummaging through some buildings, and found an object labled "Welding gun". I can't take it, and it can't be activated. Any ideas wtf that's all about?

Another question out of curiosity, is I've hacked several computers that have an option along the lines of "reset mainframe connection" or something like that, and it gives a little message that saying it's working, then handshaking, then done... but it doesn't actually do anything. Is it just flavor text?

The mainframe bit has to do with a quest at that location.

The welding gun is probably just an object that you can move around (with the grab key) but not pick up.

well it feels weird to find the item with a name and then you cant pick it up, but i found a shovel in some house against a wall, it showed name but i could not pick it up at all, no matter what i did but i know we can get a shovel as i bought one from good springs shop if i remeber right

As soon as I saw it and the name of it I had hoped it's be an awesome close range weapon. I mean how cool would that have been. Almost like an Energy/Melee hybrid.
