I have completed the SP campaign and I must say that it was brilliant.
I did experience slightly choppy gameplay, but very seldomly. My PC system is a full gaming machine.. I have a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 460 1GB graphics card running the latest drivers at 1920X1080, so I had a great experience playing the game at the highest detail settings.
I must admit that the absence of DirectX 11 support was a slight dissapointment, until I got playing and discovered that the graphical quality was absolutely amazing. I am very much in anticipation for the extra eye-candy that the Direct X 11 patch will add..
The game has small irrelevent issues. Only two glitches bothered me.. 1st one is, sometimes using the mouse scroll wheel for switching weapons would need an extra scroll to change weapons in the opposite scrolling direction. This just affected fast gameplay where quick reaction are needed.. Is there a fix for this? the 2nd is when pressing "X" or "H", displaying weapon customization or nano catalyst upgrades, the options on the side of the screen would sometimes not appear. this has only happened once or twice..
Overall.. Crysis 2 is the most brilliant PC game ever developed!
The visuals, the sounds, the concept of the game.. Its simply brilliant.
Well done to the Crytek team for making a master piece!
