Well I made it 170hrs and 88 levels before my game glitched. It started chugging in almost every place that I went. I must have done the minute men quests 1k+ times so there were lots and lots of guns laying on the floor. And I built 2 huge cities, so that didn't help anything either.

The good thing about the game messing up is now I get to play another faction and get all the other achievements that I missed. Lesson learned though, I am not making any big cities and I am not going to repeat the minute men quests.

Sounds like a complete nightmare! I've started to get into the habit of collecting those left over guns & scrap them. I'm worried it will slow if not crash the game at some point. Shame the game doesn't let other raiders etc pick them up for use. Although I have seen other npc's pick up a gun from a fallen comrade, just not when it's left on the ground from a previous visit/skirmish.

today I spent about 8 hrs going place to place cleaning up old guns and I am no where near done. Thee save improved a little, but its still laggy. My advice to anyone reading this. Don't leave guns laying around if you value your save in the long run.

How can you have so many old guns lying around? I don't notice this in my game
