Well that was short. I didn't even make it to the Vault 111.

Now that I finally found out I can start a new game and not have my old one erased, I started a new Dead is Dead character. Wow, that game didn't last long. My fist play through I rushed the beginning being so excited to play Fallout 4. So this time I took my time, knowing there is never any "urgency" like the game tells you.

So I wondered around when the alarm went off. To my surprise, my Dead is Dead play through ended without me even getting to the Vault. I guess when they tell you to get to the Vault and its "that way" you better go. :P

Nice one Bethesda. Nice one.

Bombs got me too--several times, in fact. Well at least you hadn't invested much time in them by that point.

Yeah, if you try to leave Sanctuary by way of Old North Bridge the bomb will go off when you get close and you'll die immediately. Really clever way to keep us on the path.

lol...I just started my second play through about a week ago, and I spent a little time wandering around Sanctuary before going to the Vault just to see how everything looked. I assumed that the game was simply programmed to trigger the explosion right as you got onto the elevator. Clearly I was wrong.

If you're doing a dead is dead play through, I think you can probably give yourself a pass on this one. ;)

Do not link to TVtropes, its an distraction as much as an chrismas tree decorated with mice is for an cat :)

Took me to this: http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/DevelopersForesight/TheElderScrollsVSkyrim

And the weirdest thing in that game, I dropped some armor in an dungeon to tell Lydia to pick up.

Suddenly an bandit came over and handed me the item telling me I dropped it, it scared me a lot.

They did not think of everything keeping that npc interaction for bandits
