Funny how Reach runs P2P with virtually no lag issues and has the best party/matchmaking system out there. It doesn't seem to be dedicated servers vs. P2P, but a matter of programming and testing. After two MP demos (betas), there's no excuse for Crysis to run this poorly.
Someone mentioned RAGE above, and I'm interested to see what route id takes. I'd be surprised if they have dedicated servers seeing how Carmack is more or less the godfather of P2P connections. Guarantee it doesn't run nearly as crap as this either way.
