Yes, I've seen a lot. Some of these were great projects, some were buggy, some never took off, and some others plainly svcked. Projects like OOO and MMM reignited the oblivion flame. Yet, they all shared something in common, they were made for oblivion. I know, that sounds strange, of course they were made for oblivion what do u want a mod for Age of Empires? Well, not quite. What I mean is that all these mods were made for the little guy that goes off to take an amulet to an old guy, save the world and then all that is left is go to the dungeon return and sell your loot... Or maybe you feel like: "player.additem f 1000000" and you are all set, there's nothing left to do, do a "tcl" and run to the moon.... (yeah good luck with that, I've tried it, believe me you'll never get there. I spent like 20 minutes at it before I did a; "player.setpos z 9000000" and guess what, it still looked the same!! , f... you Bethesda. )
Anyways, my point is there is no real TOTAL CONVERSION for oblivion. Sure you will say, there are a lot of good projects out there, like those middle earth guys. But reality is there is none. You have to laugh at those mods at TESnexus that have “Total Conversion” on the tittle and all they do is change Mankar's Camoran Robe to be pink. Please.
What I would like to make is a real TOTAL CONVERSION for Oblivion. Im talking about eliminating all the quests, NPCs and cities and create something completely new. More precisely, a vampire total conversion. Take inspiration from “Vampire: The Masquerade" and merge projects like, Terran Vampires, Unholy Darkness, Nekhanimal's Vampires and LTDs. Take the good, discard the bad and start from there.
“Take a vampire and make him an adventurer, not the other way around”
